Good, but maybe not for hard impact scenarios.
Reviewing the BELOMI 30 Amp Heavy Duty NEMA TT-30P Replacement Plug.Quality and capable replacement plug for a 30-Amp power cable but made from hard ABS plastic that probably will not survive a lot of hard impacts – like throwing it under the RV on a hard (concrete) surface. If used in a non-impact environment, this is a good choice for plug replacement.See pic verifying full copper wiring throughout. Helpful wiring instructions included. 4/5 stars.

ABS Plastic / Great Quality / Tight Seal / Easy To Follow Accurate Instructions
First and foremost: If you drop the terminals out of the plug when removing the back cover pay close attention to their proper position. Instructions show "green terminal" for ground. I didn't see any green until later when I was reviewing my pics and there appears to be some VERY slight green in one of the screws. The pics I took of the wire terminals shows the green in the wrong spot with the black wire connected.I had to redo/swap the terminals of the black and green wire because I let them fall out and didn't notice the difference. The ground terminal of the male plug will not fit in the wrong terminal and the other two flat male terminals will be too loose in the female ground terminal. My mistake.Another thing: This is ABS plastic. Says so in the description. I've used other plastic replacement plugs and this one is superior to them in quality and price.THE INSTRUCTIONS: I was impressed at how easy they were to follow. I think this is the first time I've ever installed a replacement plug and followed any directions. The measurements were perfect! Just the right amount of stripped wire to attach to the terminals without having to force anything. Measurements allowed for proper amount of insulation inside the case to get a good seal. When properly connected the housing fits really snug, no signs of any gaps, looks like it did before I opened it up.I used a razor blade to cut the label between the two halves. Hard to even tell and no worries of coming off as it likely would had I peeled it off. When removing the back cover that is best done with the back facing upwards so the terminals don't fall out and wind up in the wrong place like mine did. The only screws you have to remove to remove the back cover are the three furthest from the cord. The other two are for the strain relief clip. For me removing the strain relief clip made attaching the wires easier. Just be sure you slide the rubber gasket over the cord before attaching the wires.Stretching your cord out straight can help reduce the fighting of it when installing the new plug. After much frustration I wound up using a small vice and clamp. Made things go much smoother.Last pic is the marine shore power plug I was removing to use my cord for an RV cord as I will never need the marine plug.Great Product. Great Value.

It's in my backup toolbox!
We have traveled throughout the USA with our RV and have had this type of plug malfunction three times. Usual cause is water leaking into the plug causing corrasion and metal degradation, then overheating and failure.Construction: This plug is slightly smaller than the old unit, which is OK since the old one is hard to push into the storage door. Molded plastic appears substantial. Like the blade rejection feature. Wiring terminals are marked for green, black and white. Should help eliminate crossed wires.Function: Connecting process was excellent. Separation process slightly difficult due to tight blade fit, was aided by the handle. This tight fit is desirable, loose connections cause the overheating. Had no problem with the proper connection fit.Waterproofing: There may be one, but I have never found a waterproof replacement since you have to butterfly open it to make connections. Silicone could be used to make it more water resistant. It's the same for this plug.Summary: Price point seems in line with competition, I would not put this plug in my backup toolbox if I didn't think it was safe. IT's IN my toolbox waiting for the next plug failure.

Nice compact replacement plug
Well made, same style as many generator power cords. Perfect to replace a broken plug, or to make a specific style of cable. I will be using it as the final run on a whip from my transfer box.All my generator extension cords terminate in a female version of this configuration.

Good Basic Plug for DIY RV Projects
I used this plug for a special DIY project on my travel trailer. I have several variations of setups for my two battery banks, house charger, solar controler/charger, and generator. Sometimes you need to make something just perfect as far as extension length and interchangeability and this fit the bill.

Hard plastic, not very sturdy.
I kind of expected this to be like others I've had which were a hard rubber to take the hard life. This one is hard plastic. The brass is rather thin. I had to grind down the ground terminal on my plug end since there was no way it was going to go into this adapter. The ground terminal uses the brass for a flat blade, not a rounded plug that you find on the grounds of this type. You would think they would have that covered since even the plastic casting uses that rounder terminal shape. I tried getting the plug to seat a number of times and used a screwdriver to try and spread the terminal. Nothing doing. Not until I ground the plug to a taper did I finally get the plug to seat. I think this would be okay for how I will use it, but if this will be handled a lot and maybe fall on the pavement or against hard objects, I'd pass.

Great replacement plug
Cord on my existing cord shorted out a bit because of weather and such. This was a great replacement. You can tell from the instruction they are not from someone used to the American measuring system. Used 2-1/5" and 1-2/5" inches. Had everything in millimeters. Use 2-1/4" for the one and 1-3/8" for the other. But anyone kind of familiar with this type of equipment should not have any issues.
