Update- My 8 year old granddaughter just opened number thirteen, and it has a bunch of Grinch stickers. The large majority are just like the kid cartoon movie. However, some of them are probably not something you want your kid to stick to their wall or backpack. I have added a picture showing the five stickers that range from questionable to downright inappropriate. This is the first surprise I have had a problem with. Until now they have been cute little toys. I still say this advent calendar is well worth the money. Just make sure you screen the surprises so you can catch any toys you don’t want your little ones to see. Please continue on for my original review, because this is for the most part a really good advent calendar.Original Review- This advent calendar is way better than I ever expected!! It has beautiful vibrant graphics. The main box is a very sturdy corrugated cardboard that will last for years with proper handling. The inside boxes are made of nice thick cardstock. The surprise gifts are cute and well packaged. I especially love the included layout sheet that shows you how to replace the individual boxes without having to solve a puzzle. 😉 All in all this is a beautiful advent calendar! And you can refill the boxes next year for a diy advent calendar, or reuse all the boxes as gift boxes. My only complaint is to Amazon. They didn’t repackage it, so it shipped in the original box with no protection. They also slapped the huge shipping label smack dab in the middle of the front graphic. Thankfully the box is high quality enough for me to carefully remove the label without injuring the box.

We just had day 13 and it was a packet of grinch stickers. Up until now my grand daughters have been very happy but today there are very inappropriate grinch stickers for children. Alcohol, drug profanity and some subtle sexual references. Very upset that I had to go through and throw out very adult stickers in what should be a box and has been so far, kids toys! Will never order again.

I would have loved this item and given it 5+ stars based on the following: 1. It was VERY affordable compared to other advent calendars. 2. It didn’t just contain 1 prize in each box, it contained multiple (ex: box 8 had SEVEN slap bracelets. Box 9 had nearly 30 stickers) So this was definitely a good value. 3. I loved that it has boxes to open, rather than the punch out style because it was just much easier for kids. HOWEVER, I was very disappointed that the stickers were inappropriate for children as I bought this for my 6 & 7 year old and they very much understood what those stickers meant. Also, 1 or 2 of the boxes were duplicates and that was kind of annoying. So I don’t think I’d necessarily recommend.

There were some Trump stickers that were a bit over the top-the grinch using the middle finger was a bit much for a kids toy-but other than that-it was great!

Bought this to fill my 9 year old son's advent calendar. Nice variety and quality for the price so far but this is marketed for children and these were in the stickers in box 13. Not appropriate for kids.

I bought this for my daughter’s 3rd grade class, it’s listed as a kids advent calendar. Today they opened the one that had grinch stickers and one of the grinch stickers was the grinch giving the middle finger. I am sooooo embarrassed to have given this to my child’s class and to get an email from her teacher about today’s “gift”. Why would you label something for kids and put a sticker in it like that!! I am so angry and embarrassed.

Most of the items were fine. When you have a pile of stickers that are inappropriate for kids it ruins the entire purchase for us. If I had read the reviews prior to buying I would have pulled them out or not purchased this set at all. This morning our kids showed us the sticker of the grinch holding up his middle finger and another one with the words "Shuh Duh Fuh Cup"....Come on!

I bought this to fill my own wooden advent calendar. Not gonna lie, laughed my butt off when I opened box 13 to peek at the contents. It contained like 30 Grinch themed stickers. I was just checking them out when I came across these non G rated ones. I laughed personally but just a heads up!
