Very nice pan
This is a very nice pan and it has all the quality you expect from Nordic Ware. This is made like one of Nordic Ware's heavier weight pans, not the thin ones. It holds 6 cups of batter and bakes nice and evenly, the design comes out nicely. I made a chocolate mayonnaise cake and used powdered sugar on top and it came out so pretty showing the design of the roses on the heart. Clean up wasn't too bad, when the pans are so intricately designed, I wait for the pan to cool and try to wash it soon after. This pan may be a little challenging to clean once the residue crusts over. Pretty pan, very happy with it. I'm sure I will get many years of use from this pan.

Quality Cake Pan
The cake, as shown before adding icing, came out easily without anything sticking. The directions included were perfect. I just used a bit of oil to coat the pan, then lightly dusted it with some flour, shook the excess flour out, then cooked the cake batter in it. After cooling for about 15 minutes, it came out perfectly when flipped over. The design makes the bottom surface a bit uneven if you try to put it on an oven rack without a cookie sheet under it, but you should probably do that anyway to catch any overflow. Cleaning it up wasn't bad - I just let it soak in some soapy water for a few minutes and most of the crumbs just rinsed out. The size, for me, is perfect. I prefer smaller cakes. For holidays, a couple of different flavored smaller cakes and pie or two seem to work best so everyone's happy. The pan is nice and solid - a bit heavy even. It should last a long time. I don't have any plans getting another cake pan, unless my kids really want it after they're grown. This is a good design for all year, and a bit elevated compared to the basic curved style. It's definitely giftable.

Impress your friends with a pretty cake
I loved mine so much, I gave one to my niece as a shower gift.I usually make a lemon cake in it. Although it’s nonstick, I always oil the pan and use a brush to get oil in all the small crevices. My cakes always come out easily.Scatter some berries and mint leaves around the cake to make it a very special presentation.

Nordic ware is the best
Pan was easy to use. The shape was to my liking. If you follow the instructions, the cake comes out in one piece. I have always had good luck with Nordic ware products

Beautiful!
This is such a beautiful pan, I couldn’t wait to bake in it. It made a gorgeous quick bread. It looked just like Nordic Ware’s photos. This is a small pan, about ¾ the size of my other loaf pans. It is hard to measure, but the inside is less than 8 inches long. The cake came out perfectly. Before I filled it, I used a silicone brush to apply a good coat of very soft butter in all the openings. Then I turned the pan around and did it again, because I’ve found that if I just do it looking at one angle, I don’t see all the places I missed. Then I floured it. I also tapped the pan several times to get the batter all the way to the bottom. After I baked it, there was not a speck of cake left in the pan, not even in the smallest places.Cleanup was a breeze. I used a large paper towel that I got very wet and soapy and I just placed in the bottom for a minute or two, then wiped and rinsed. I examined it under good light and it was perfectly clean. It is typical Nordic Ware good quality. I love their pans. It’s sturdy and well made. The pan came in a flimsy plastic bag. There was a recipe included. It is for a Rose Loaf Cake, flavored, as the name suggest, with rose water. Rose water is not my favorite flavor. I’ve traveled a lot in the Middle East, where it is popular, and I have to say it tastes like soap to me, so I won’t be making that. It is helpful, though, to look at the amounts of flour and eggs and such, so as to compare with recipes that will work well in this pan.
