This is a great way to help weather protect the Blink cameras.

Not great for real security. If someone walks fast, they can beat detection. Basically a motion detector with a fish-eye lens that adds quite a bit of distortion. Detection range about 20-25' BUT it allows too much time before it will trigger. The lowest setting is 10 seconds for re-trigger. Not sure if that also reflects detection time. Amazon needs to step-up and do an update to be able to reduce trigger/re-trigger time to at least 1 to 3 seconds, then one can go up from there. I recently had someone between the houses and they walked so fast that I was unable to determine anything. My ears determined a running car several houses down and that served as a better detector. I will try setting sensitivity higher and see if that makes a change. Don't care if batteries only last 12-14 months instead of the marketing ploy of 24 mo. Not efficient/safe. Investigate another brand even if it costs more. These could have been good. Would have been willing to pay a little more to get something really useful. Just another product 'blown-up to be big' and be nothing but a disappointment. I hope to sell these and replace. And so it goes.

Very easy to set up if you already have to system to begin with

Quality of the picture is wayyy better than the gen 3. The night vision is great... so far. Outside installation, as well as, app synchronization, was a breeze!
