Great for wooden train lovers
I bought this as a Christmas gift for my 5 year old who is obsessed with wooden trains/tracks. It works well with his Thomas Wooden Railway tracks and the generic tracks. The train was more orange than yellow as pictured. I bought it mostly because of the yellow coloring in the picture because my son’s favorite color is yellow and he wanted a yellow diesel train. It also can only tote 2-3 cars behind it uphill. Other than those 2 things, he loves it.

This is very cute and runs great. It can even pull additional cars with it! Good purchase

Very good toy!
It has survived my grandson’s destructive tendencies towards his toys. Everything still works as new and is no worse for wear.

Hours of fun
These are amazing little trains for preschoolers! My grandkids have had hours fun fun with them and them are seemingly indestructible!

Great train for pulling others
The media could not be loaded. This train has really transformed our track experience. My son and I used to play with all of the cars by pushing them down the tracks using our hands. Now we are able to hook up multiple cars to the back of the motorized train. One single push of a button sets the train in motion down the wooden blocks. We no longer have to manually push the cars on our own. This has made the experience more fun in many ways. We test out different hook ups and tracks. This train is very cool because it can go backwards or forwards. There is also a headlight to make it look more realistic. The only negative feedback is that the train can’t handle small turns. The length of the unit is too long to handle small turns. There is also a cute little character that comes with a flag in his hand. The current price of 22.99 seems a bit high based on the quality and features. My son has really enjoyed playing with this motorized car.

I love this little train! What a superstar!
The media could not be loaded. This an awesome little train! It works really well on my son's thomas track as well as his wooden tracks. One of the cool things about that, is that it uses the same kind of magnetic couples as the wooden track trains. So you can attach a whole mess of cars on it (as long as its not climbing anything). It has some fun sound effects when its starting, stopping, or backing up. It also has a good old fashioned on-off button, which the accursed engineers at the thomas factory didn't put on their set (*shakes fist at mystery engineers*). But I'm not bitter or anything...This little train has survived being power driven by my five year old son (pushed 3x faster than its designed to go, resulting in horrifying clicks of plastic gears mashing together). It still works though! It has also survived my 2yo daughter throwing it on our tile floor more than one time but less than 5 times (it was 4, she threw it 4 times). Not one piece cracked or came off and it still works like new... impressive! The only kryptonite this little gem has, is that it does not like rechargeable AAA batteries. It worked for a moment or two, but then it refused to do anything until I took the batteries out and replaced them with non-rechargeables. I'm not even sad though, it works so well that it will never make me sad.Something to note is that it seems to be slower than thomas and when your son refuses to run one of them at a time, there will be an inevitable collision. But maybe that is half the fun? Or maybe all the fun, I don't know? Its a great little train, and I would not hesitate to get it again!
