Silver Buffalo Sanrio Hello Kitty, Ceramic Cookie Jar

I’m obsessed w this pink Hello Kitty jar! The material feels like a ceramic and it’s about 7 inches tall, making it the perfect size. The lid has a thick and tight seal that keeps everything fresh. Sometimes the seal can be a strong so maybe not good if you are handicapped or elderly, but it’s great for keeping things fresh. The silicone band around the lid can come off if you want to wash it, which is super convenient. i’m not sure if it’s dishwasher safe, but you can definitely hand wash it, as I have a couple times already. I actually use it for my body powder (instead of cookies), and it works perfectly. The jar looks super cute sitting on my bathroom counter. The image of Hello Kitty and the stripes are high quality, and the colors are bright and vibrant. I’ve had it for a while, and it hasn’t broken or chipped at all. The price is great, considering how cute and functional it is. If I was shopping for a jar in another lifetime, I would find my way back to her 😚❤️

Ever bought something for yourself and thought: I'm kind of disappointed with this... but NOT because it's a bad product -- in fact, you actually do LIKE the thing? I bought this not really knowing what, if anything, to use it for -- truly one of those rarest of rarest things in my life... a purely "On Impulse" purchase. ~ (Guess they must've successfully gotten their hooks in me with my prior Coffee Mug purchases from these good folks.) The "disappointment" comes in relation to what I was expecting, which was just a simple straight-up all-ceramic lid -- you know... the kind which just "rests in place" atop of the mouth opening. Instead, this is constructed with a rubber gasket around the rim of the lid, which I actually would've appreciated... EXCEPT that it produces a weak seal! That's right... the same guy who would've been perfectly okay with an "unsealed" lid semi-upset that it's made with a seal that does not hold very tightly. I'm not really a fan of the "hollow" design of the lid either (personal aesthetic quirk). I'm not unhappy with it, but I'm also sort of non-committal about it at the same time. I can see where some people would like it and make good use of it, and it's as sturdy as it is cute. Doesn't really work for *ME* so much (I'm currently using it to store the remainder of my hot cocoa powder mix, just so I could get rid of that ugly original tin the factory packed it into), but I can definitely see this being a welcome addition to others' lives for any variety of purposes. (Less one star, but only because the sealing gasket is not quite as tight-holding as I would've felt was beyond being just sufficient enough.)

So the first two jars came broken but the third one was exactly what I wanted. They didn’t charge me or require me to return it thankfully so yay!

Omg I was SO EXCITED when I found this cookie jar😁 I’ve been obsessed with Hello Kitty since I was a little girl and I still love her.

Love my Hello Kitty canister, I'm going to use it in my bathroom. I'm going to order more so I can put my lip gloss in one, hair bands in another and then I'll order more for more stuff lol. You can never have to much Hello Kitty stuff.
