Fast shipping and great product
I loved what I ordered. It was exactly what I was looking for at the right price. It was a bulb that fit my Viewsonic projector.

Worked great for 7 months and an estimated 630 hours.
Worked great for about 7 months of 3 hours per day average usage. Then it just faded to black, right in the middle of an episode of Games of Thrones. UGH.The math comes out to be about 7¢ per hour of usage over the life of my bulb. Not too bad really.My original OEM bulb lasted three years, with somewhat similar average daily usage.At least this bulb didn’t violently explode when it died like the original OEM bulb did. 😊

Short life
Ended up buying 2 of these bulbs within 2 months. Thought the first one dying so quickly was a fluke, but the second one died within 3 weeks. We use the projector about 4 hours everyday, but the last time I changed the bulb before this was 2 years ago. Disappointed to say the least.

Good bulb but more work
Only get this if you want to put in more work! It’s much easier to buy the entire lighting component/housing for the bulb. If you get just the bulb you have to mess with the wiring and housing component.

Blew out after 3 months
Have been using a projector for years for a TV replacement. Works a treat because the bulbs last 18 months on the low end to one we had that lasted for 4 years straight. Quite the trooper, that one.Well, this bulb has blown out after 3 months. Don't know why it did, but this is by far the shortest life I've had of any projector bulb I've bought (that worked when it arrived).Ordering from a different seller for a replacement myself now, but consider yourselves forewarned of the possibility that this can happen to you too.
