Bosch Professional 1x HCS Plunge Cutting Saw Blade AIZ 32 EPC Wood (for Softwood, 50 x 32 mm, Accessory Multitool)

I use a number of Bosch blades and was attracted by the curved shape of the blade. Used to cut access panels in 18mm flooring chipboard. It wasn't long before the blade lost it's edge and this made the job handwork. Ended up finishing the job using a narrower Dewalt blade which was much more effective. Also used it on 2 x 4 studs (30 year old timber which was good quality) and it struggled. The profile of the teeth on this blade seems wrong i.e. they are too long and acute and so quickly get blocked by sawdust. The fact that the teeth have no set whatsoever so there means there is nowhere for the swarf and dust to clear the cutting surface. If you have a smallish job to do with softwood then this will cope but it's performance in my book is simply average.

Durable DIY blade

Very useful blades in a cost effective multi pack. The oscillating cutting action multi tool with which these blades are used is one of those tools you never new you need until you have one, every DIY enthusiast should have one, it's saved my bacon many times by allowing me to do something inconceivably difficult otherwise. These blades are fairly universal and can be used with the WorkZone Multi tool sold by Aldi

My old blade had gradually blunted - as they do - without me really thinking it about it. However, an attempt to cut through from 12mm ply which resulted in in starting to smoulder was a wake up call! This new blade rejuvenated my use of the cutter - fits perfectly and cuts very well.
