I have many of these squishy monkeys from different places and the one ORB makes is the most premium quality compared to others. first of all, its the biggest and heaviest one i have managed to get.The rubber is softer and stretchier compared to others. but the biggest difference is the sand. it does not use a regular fine sand, but kinetic sand, it helps the monkey to stay in shape.i have seen some people here complain about it breaking quickly with photos of it teared from the arm.its usually happens when you pick it up from one arm and then try to throw it, dont do that.It weights 2.2kg and when you hold from its arm it already stretch it from the weight, throwing it while holding it from one arm will stretch it too much. there are monkeys that are made of harder rubber which could take a lot of force without tearing up. (the blue one for example.) ORB makes their monkies much softer so they stretch much more easy, thus it will stretch to its maximum limit with less force.about dropping, this monkey is built more for shaping and less for dropping, it does not splat very well.however, if you want it to splat more like the regular brown monkies, you can use an injection with a needle and inject some air inside of it from the top of its head. (that circle). i did that to all my squishy monkies to get the perfect balance. the tiny hole will close up when you take out the needle.

This was fun while it lasted. Unfortunately grown child decided to see how far this actually can stretch and they did break it but these were grown adults. My son loved it!!

It was fun for the short time we had it. Kids opened it Christmas morning and it’s 640 pm the 26th and it’s in the trash. Both feet ripped off so just be careful. Thankfully my son brought it to me so no big mess.

Two of my kids (9 and 13) spent their money on this. It was between this and the “original monkee” brand. This one had very few reviews but at the time they were all good. I thought it would for sure be a waste and that they’d break within the first week but I have been shocked to see that they’ve had these for 5 weeks and they’re holding up great. They wanted an “indestructible toy”, and they’ve definitely put that to the test. They splat these monkeys, punch them, and throw them. They are careful not to have them on any sharp surfaces and not to hold them just by their legs or one arm. They’re very heavy so the weight of its body would likely rip it if they did that. I’ve seen these go on sale for $25, which would be a great price. Even for $30 it’s been worth it for my boys. I hope they last for at least a couple more months

Very fun, large and heavy, but it was a disappointment that it broke in less than 2 hours with the normal handling of a 10-year-old child 😕, I would not pay so much again for something that would not last more than a couple of hours!
