I'm an experienced nurse, but did not realise (until I developed the allergy) that a] The mainstream products are simply pumped with chemicals and b]tampons should actually not be even remotely uncomfortable - which they aren't now!!! I was always aware I had something in, symptoms of slight swelling and very minor soreness. I assumed it was hormonal and micro-trauma, and they never felt right - obviously because I was reacting to them. What a dingbat!So, now I have found these i am literally in heaven. Totally unaware I even have anything in.

No more plastic, organic cotton all the way. Good applicator that doesn't get stuck and good absorbency. Nice knowing they are natural and non-toxic unlike all the leading supermarket brands.

Once you know what's in other products how could any woman not make this informed choice.

Well designed packaging, slower delivery than expected but product worth it .

I bought these tampons due to the fact that they are the only company I found in the supermarket to do cardboard applicators which I thought was quite a good idea due to the plastic crisis. However, the top of the applicator is quite spikey so it had an uncomfortable application. Also, unless you have a light period, they only last a couple hours before you start to leak which obviously isn’t the best. I think this company has a very good ethos however the product needs to be redesigned to overcome these issues

Been using these for a while.I simply can't use commercial tampons, anymore.As the only ones universally available seem to be Tampax and they, invariably, use really hard, rough textured, plaited, plastic strings, now, for some unknown reason.Which are, literally, painful to wear!I don't really understand why there aren't more complaints about them?Strings shouldn't hurt you...You shouldn't even be able to feel them, at all.Also, their tampons are made out of artificial materials, which can't be good for you, either.Whereas, TOTM tampons are like tampons should be - natural cotton and a super-soft, cotton string.One word of caution: When I first started using TOTM tampons, as per the negative review, the applicators were ridiculously thin and would, regularly, cave in on themselves.Meaning you then had to throw the entire tampon away - which was, obviously, both very annoying and terribly wasteful.This happened, even if you pushed the tampon out of the applicator slightly, before using it.However, I haven't had as many problems lately.So, if they did it for environmental reasons, hopefully, they have now realised that it is far more wasteful (and bad for the environment) to have to throw 3/4 of the tampons away, than it is to make the applicator slightly thicker.

I wont go into detail but the applicator does not work at all. It just gets jammed and wont budge. After 3 tampons I gave up, it is impossible. Never had any issue with other brands, had to bin the box.
