I've been trying out a number of different risers at home and in my office lately. I use them to elevate collectibles or decorative items. using a riser beneath smaller items can really enhance their appearance.these work great. The white acrylic looks great, much better than the clear ones I so often find. The acrylic is thick and strong. It will hold a lot of weight. Best of all, these come in different sizes that can be nested together so you can hide the smaller ones beneath the larger if they are not all currently in use.I'm sure these would like terrific supporting cakes and pastries. I just used them for other things.

I bought 2 times. First time was ok but the second time all the angels were open and I had to glue it but I don’t thinkIt will help.

I ordered these specifically for a display of collectibles. I wanted to add some height to some of the items to bring attention to specific pieces and add some dimension to a display. These are perfect for this. They are sleek and minimal in appearance. These would work great for so many different things. I could see using these if having an event or party and wanting to display food/drink items. They feel solid enough to support a moderate weight and I am confident with having my pricey collectible items on them.
