Like a lot of people I have a snake phobia but at the same time find them strangely fascinating creatures. There's absolutely loads of really interesting facts and figures about snakes and lizards in this book, it really is a one stop shop for everything you might want to know. I never knew that snakes are often born with two heads and each head will fight the other for food! Or that stressed snakes sometimes eat themselves! There's so much interesting information here, it'll keep you occupied for hours!

What I like about this book is that I can go back again and again and find useful information, easy to understand and it is a good and clear introduction to lizards and snakes.
