Brilliant Lige Military Watch review - rugged and practical
Very impressive looking watch and easy to adjust the strap to suit and change straps. In addition it has multiple features that are very easy to use like choosing the watch face however the preset version is very good and i liked it a lot.As well as this it has time day date and weather which i find very useful. Especially the step counter for tracking fitness and energy goals. I loved the phone connection set up. Great features and easy to do. One particular feature i loved is the screen brightness feature and i use this frequently for day and night adjustments. This watch is very good and i have no problems giving it 5 stars. It would make a lovely gift at an affordable price too. Big thumbs up

Good quality for the money
I wanted a Smartwatch but didn’t want to pay the earth for it. This watch is very good quality considering it comes in under sixty pounds. Clear screen, good graphics and the instructions are brief but clear. If you download the recommended sports app there are plenty of watch face choices available. Two straps and charge lead in pack. So far very pleased.

Excellent buy!
This is my very first smart watch, so, I was a bit sceptical on spending little money on a budget smart watch, compared to some well known expensive makes (you know them). Well, I can say that this budget watch is excellent, great looking, great quality, so many functions is very impressive for a budget watch, the screen clarity is excellent, the tiny speaker is so clear and crisp sounding. I believe this smart watch is perfect if your on a low budget to spend, glad I picked this one after looking at many others.Happy customer here!

Lost time
The watch looked nice but I had to adjust it over and over, the heart monitor was just a gimmick as when I ran and walked the monitor registers the same. I liked the optional straps added to the pack though.

A amazing watch
What an amazing watch Lige have produced, smart and very functional with an outstanding number of features, amongst which are the considerable choice of different watch faces.Starting with the AMOLED display which is so much brighter than the LCD and helps me for example on returning home at night to find the key hole in the door, and at other times when I just need a light for a few moments, changing the duration of the light is very quick and easy to adjust. The selection of other features available is outstanding, and I am particularly interested in the ability to connect time Mobil phone which also offers considerable flexibility on how to use it.I have also been very impressed with the handy booklet which accompanies the watch.Another very useful feature is the local weather forcast which which can be accessed via the Mobil phone .The heart and pulse monitors are most useful and are used together with the step counter. The attractive metal belt is comfortable and easy to setup. This military smartwatch is a great asset to the range , and I have no hesitation in giving it a 5 star ratingBrian. does the job at a reasonable price
Size is about right for a man's wrist. The app is better than the old LIGE app and works well, especially doing the health checks all at once from the app on the smartphone. The downside is that blood pressure and oxygen values do not appear on the watch (pulse rate does). Battery lasts 4-5 days comfortably.

Great product lots of features
Very impressed with the watch and the quality. Comes with metal and rubber strap with quick release pins, instruction manual, charger and a tool to change the metal strap size..... really impressive. Loads of features on the downloadable app. Great product so 5 stars from me.

Poor quality
Very poor battery life. If you turn on the always-on display, which was the reason I bought the AMOLED display, have to charge every day. Also, realise how bulky it is so forget about sleeping with it to monitor sleep tracking. The rubber band will make your wrist sweat after a while so can't wear it for longer. Nice display though with vibrant colour and the step count is accurate too as I counted to check. App is also generic and may be the watch too as it came into a generic box rather than the brandings. You can find similar sorts of watch from amazon and I believe all of them are same just a different brand name.

Decent fitness tracker, poor app/privacy concern, decent build quality, inaccurate monitors
This is a reasonably decent (and slightly more advanced, used loosely here, in comparison to many others) fitness tracker/smart watch (SML17) that appears well-built and for the most part works as expected. It has some of the most common monitors such as HR, BP, and SpO2 although they are quite typical for these budget fitness trackers nowadays. It comes with a silicone strap that most others do along with a metal buckle that only some others have. In addition, it also comes with a stainless steel strap that very few others have and that's certainly a point in its favor. It does have many of the standard features as most other budget or off-brand smart watches have but what sets this apart from most others though is that it has 2 buttons which can be configured as a shortcut key to certain features such as main menu, sports mode, and to wake up the watch etc which I do appreciate. Of course, they can also be used as alternative ways to navigate around the menu instead of the touch screen if that's something of interest to you.≡ NoteThese so-called SMART WATCHES are really just FITNESS TRACKERS with added features (i.e. flashlight, calculator; mostly useless ones too) and it's NOT a true smart watch/device. A true smart device operates by itself on its own without the NEED to install an App for it to run and without depending on another device (i.e. your phone) to run.For instance, if your PHONE requires an App to be installed on a LAPTOP in order for various functions on your phone to work, or if your phone would lose certain features WHEN your laptop goes offline, would you consider your phone to be a SMART phone? Well, I wouldn't and I'll be extremely upset if that's the case, and that's exactly what happens here most of these so-called smart watches.###≡ FeaturesBy standard I don't mean one or two, in fact, the standard nowadays is about a dozen or so including heart rate, blood pressure, oxygen monitor, or glucose monitor just to name a few. Unfortunately, although it does have all 3 monitors (HR, BP, and SpO2) which is exactly what I want and need, the HR and BP don't seem to be accurate at all (SpO2 appears to be reasonably accurate for the most part although we know the figures for the vast majority of healthy people is usually either 98% or 99%) which is quite upsetting to have found out after numerous tests. In addition, the steps counter seems to be off by about 3700+ so that's not exactly accurate either but it's amongst some of the better ones (i.e. off by the least amounts in comparison). It also has the typical sports and/or exercise related features that many others have. It has a reasonably large screen of 1.96" for a square case and it certainly is larger than the 1.8" varieties although it's not that much of a difference in the grand scheme of things (i.e. 0.16" difference) but it is larger nonetheless. I should also note that it only comes with 20 sports (whereas most others have about 25-30) but additional sports (100+) are available from the app including additional watch faces (comes with 7 faces).≡ BatteryIts battery capacity is not advertised which is a bit of a bummer for me because everyone would wanna advertise things that are good and not the other way around. In either case, whatever the capacity might be, the only thing I really care is that it can last me an entire day (charge once a day is fine with me). My estimate is that it's probably around 350 mAh though. With that being said, I also don't have a clue about the longevity of the battery but that's a common concern for all rechargeable smart watches out there (i.e. battery dies unexpected fast). Note that the default screen timeout is 5sec which is unusably short for me but it can be increased up to 30 seconds (whereas some other can't t at all while a few can do 60 sec) so that's great. I don't necessarily want 30 sec but it's nice to have the options (I set mine to 15sec).≡ Water resistanceBtw, these fitness trackers/smart watches are NOT meant to be submerged in water (salty or otherwise) longer than a few minute even though they advertised as being IP68 or even 5 ATM which is completely nonsensical if you know what that really means (around 50m under water but it's really meant for accidental submersion); otherwise, there is an extremely high probability that it will die prematurely.≡ AppFor those who are curious about what the 'FitCloudPro' app (2.9 rating) requires;✘ Any data may be shared with other companies or organizations, including but not limited to;* Precise location, Email address and Phone number, Fitness info, SMS or MMS,Photos and videos* Files and docs, Contacts, Installed apps ,Device or other IDs✘ Data isn't encrypted (typical practice in China)✔ Data is encrypted during transit✘ Device & app history* read sensitive log data✘ Contacts* read your contacts✘ Location* approximate location (network-based)* precise location (GPS and network-based)✘ Phone* directly call phone numbers, read call log, read phone status and identity, Photos/Media/Files, read* the contents of your USB storage, modify or delete the contents of your USB storage✘ Storage* read the contents of your USB storage* modify or delete the contents of your USB storage✘ Camera* take pictures and videos✘ Microphone* record audio✘ Wi-Fi connection information* view Wi-Fi connections✘ Device ID & call information* read phone status and identity✘ Other* receive data from Internet, view network connections, pair with Bluetooth devices* access Bluetooth settings, control flashlight, full network access, run at startup* control vibration, prevent device from sleeping✘ NoteLike nearly all other budget smart watches (or any other 'smart' devices really) out there, an App is REQUIRED for this to function at its fullest which means you are giving the manufacturer (and whoever they decide to share it with or without your permission) AND the app OWNER (i.e. some company in China and that equates to the gov in this case) your COMPLETE and entire historical data. Some people consider some of these (i.e. precise GPS location, health info, heart rate, blood pressure, or the alike) to be 'extremely' personal information and therefore are private. Data mining, analysis, prediction, and eventually profit making and/or a form of control will be vital in many aspects of our lives in the foreseeable future. If this concerns you at all, look elsewhere.###≡ ValueAll things considered, this is a decent FITNESS TRACKER (with some smart watch functions) that works just fine if you don't care about any of the issues mentioned above, in particular the issues with the HR and BP monitors. It does have a relatively larger screen of 1.96" (vs. 1.80"/1.85" from most others) as well as 2 buttons (i.e. 1 access key) that some people might find useful as well (and I certainly do). It's somewhat reasonably priced at $56 for what it provides (a generic fitness tracker, SML17) and its overall build quality and performance.

Lots of features, elegant & affordable smart watch.
The main reason I got smart watch was for the fitness & health tracking feature, everything else was a bonus. But I didn't use or test the messaging/phone features or the social media notification features.Like I said I mainly wanted this for the fitness/health features.Out of the box I was very impressed with the quality of the watch, it's well built. The size of the screen is big and the quality is sharp and crisp. The watch is very responsive and the touch screen works well.Installing the APP was fast & easy and pairing the watch via Bluetooth also went on without any issues. You can easily change the look/dial of your watch through the app and there's plenty to choose from.I was also impressed that it comes with 2 bands one of which is metallic. The battery life is excellent, I can go over a week before needing to recharge it.The charging time is also pretty fast. The watch can track over 100 different sports/activitiesDuring my testing I compared the results of several metrics with those of my fitness band of a well know brand.I wore my smart watch on my left wrist and my fitness band on my right wrist for several days. For the hearth rate monitor the smart watch had very similar results vs my fitness band there was the occasional +/- 5 difference by the average was the same or +/- 2For the sleep monitor the total sleep time between the smart watch & the fitness band was once again close +/- 20 minutes. But the smart watch gave me less detail about my sleep. First the smart band had one extra metric "REM" which the watch doesn't have. Also with the watch it looks like I can only see the detailed sleep breakdown for the current day, when I check the weekly or monthly tabs it doesn't allow me to select a specif date and see the sleep breakdown of that day.The smart watch has a blood pressure feature which my fitness band doesn't have. I compared the result with a blood pressure machine and the watch was in a +/- 8 range which I found surprising I was expecting worst results. The blood oxygen metric was exactly the same on both the watch and the band. There was around a 5% difference between the watch and the band when it came to total steps & total distances recorded. But I'm not sure which one was more accurate because I've never really tried to measure the accuracy of my fitness band when it came to those metrics. The only thing I have a concern about is the APP and this is a general concern for all affordable products that need apps. I don't know how to test to see how secure an app is or if they are any privacy risk, so what I did is that I installed the APP on my old phone that contains none of my personal information, and is setup with a separate e-mail account and is just used to sync the watch with the app.Overall I'm happy with this smart watch, even without using all of it's features it's still a much better value than all the popular fitness bands or smart watches. Plus I was very happily surprised by the overall build quality and the quality of the APP.

Performs Well
I haul around boxes and merchandise all day at work, and have a Husky who gets hyper and mouthy. I was looking for a strong, durable, heavy duty smart watch- and was excited to try this out.The screen display is crisp and vibrant. Health monitoring and steps were the most accurate of all the smart watches I've tried. It was a breeze to pair and the app is easy to navigate. I like that you can make phone calls on this watch, and the sound quality is good.It comes with 2 bands- a metal and a silicon. I hate silicon, so as the metal needed some links out to fit- I pulled out the pin remover tool the watch came with. There were no instructions. No instructions means its got to be easy to figure out, right? I really should have stopped right there lol. First I moved that tool around trying to figure out if it should lay flat or upright. Then I had to try and see tiny black pins on a black band. Then when the tool broke I discovered the etched arrows on the band that told me I was trying to screw out the pins in the wrong direction. Did I quit? Oh no, not me. I found a finishing nail and a small hammer, the nail bent. I pulled out a tiny watchmakers screwdriver with a teeny head, it got stuck. Then I quit. Do I feel like a noob? Yes, yes I do. Next I tried a nylon velcro band I have, but the pin kept popping out on one side- too thick I think. Finally I dug out a gold metal band I had and that one works. The battle of the bands was frustrating...and it was real.Other than the lack of instruction for the pin tool (the rest of that scene I have to own), I do have one other issue with this watch. For some reason there are sharp edges on the bezel edge top and bottom. No, I did not do this fighting with the band- the watch was safe away from me in its box when I was fighting with it. It just has sharp edges for some reason. I've scratched myself on them. Nor can I wear this when I sleep, because those edges keep getting caught in my bedding. Which means sleep monitoring for me with this watch is impossible. It's a shame really, because I like everything else about it.

Sturdy, Stylish and Feature Packed Smart Fitness Tracking Watch
The 1st thing about this smart watch is the appearance, its squared design makes it look more sturdy and rugged to which I prefer. A choice of 2 watch bands were included in the box one of which is rubber and the other a very nice black steel band. The build quality is extremely good. Everything feels solid and sturdyFunctionality of the watch is good for all features except for steps. Steps are inaccurate as with nearly all smart devices I have ever had and used where simple shaking your wrist a certain way can increase your step count. Bluetooth calling was crisp and clear.. The watch is paired with an app called FitCloud Pro. One of the cool features is the ability to change the watch face as well as the ability to even have your own customised watch face even if it is limited was extremely nice. The Heart Rate, Blood Pressure and Blood Oxygen apps seemed quite reliable and accurate when tested against the local pharmacy test machine. Another awesome feature that I haven’t seen in other watches I own is the one of the side buttons is configurable with 2 modes. You can change what a single push of the button can do as well as what happens when you hold the button in. Charging was pretty quick, from low battery to full in just a couple of hours with the supplied magnetic attached USB cord. This watch is stylish, sturdy, well made and is feature packed for what you would expect for a smart watch / fitness tracker. I would have no problems in recommending this to my friends.
