My hair broke off
I was hoping to love this product.Instead I regret my purchase.My hair is bleached, but was in good condition.I wanted to really "up" the inner strength and appearance of my hair before my having it styled at an unfamiliar salon when I travel to my son's wedding next month.I thought Continuum sounded like a great stand alone product for what I wanted to accomplish.I did not use it with bleach only as a deep conditioner!My hair before using this product was shiny and soft and took a curl easily.Looking back I should have just been satisfied with it.After using the Continuum it felt great after I rinsed it out.It was evening so I just let it dry naturally before bed.In the morning I noticed my hair felt a bit dry, but didn't have time to worry.Over the next couple of days I noticed weird"Layers" in my hair, that I had never noticed before. It took me a week to realize those layers were severe breakage!Now my hair in areas has lost a couple inches of length and looks like a fried mess!I am at a loss as to what to do except get a very short pixie cut. :((I had a chin length bob)Before I wrote this review, I asked a friend with virgin hair to would let me try this on them.Although their hair is not breaking, they have similar results, experiencing very dry rough hair.The product is highly scented, though according to the Continuum site it is supposed to be scent free.Some reviews here say the product received was very watery, mine was the consistentcy of a daily conditioner.I do live in an area with slightly hard water, but until using the product it has never caused a problem.Maybe others have had great results, but for me it's going to turn into a big expense to get my hair cut and "fixed"I would not recommend
