Can be used on other things also. Review: Very useful to kee[ from geting burned. - The lid fit my 3 quart instant pot very well although I usually just use a bowl to store food in. I wish there had been two pot holders -one for each hand. It takes two hands to lift my pot out. The cleaning brush and spatula are useful.. They read the review and sent me another hot mitt over a year later.
