It's a 'mer!
It's an Estwing by name & by nature. Well balanced with excellent claw & with the bonus of a hickory shaft, unusual these days.

Good hammer
Decent hammer as estwings usually are. Only downside is the varnished handle, but I just sanded that off and applied some beeswax. Would be good if the estwing name was engraved into the handle rather than printed on.

Worth it
Great hammer ,love wooden handles better grip especially if working hard and get sweat on palms as grips even better, handle could be an inch longer but it's fine and has good balance, also being a straight handle it slips in belt loop dead easy unlike my other earning hammer which makes a difference doing it 100 times a day...

Ring a ding ding
Looks the business but I'm afraid that's the best I can say. Every time I struck with it it rang like a tuning fork amusing at first but then gets a little tiresome. I continued hoping that it would stop once it got a few bruises. Unfortunately didn't get the chance as the shaft broke just below the head the first time I used the claw to extract a nail. Consigned to the bin.

Fake
Does not look like a genuine estwing hammer the finish not what I expected from estwing who's hammers I've used for over 30yrs the brand print on the head can hardly be read and estwing you would be able to read the printFake
