Great to-the-point read
Spencer did a wonderful job explaining the doctrines of grace in light of scripture. As a busy wife and mom to 4 little ones, I appreciate how he didn't draw things out , but got straight to the point (or 5 points... He he). I read cover to cover in a Sunday afternoon. His style of writing flowed well and easily kept my attention from start to finish. I highly recommend this book.

Highlights of Calvinism
Outstanding simplified summary of Calvinism. I have purchased several to share with others who are interested in this Biblical doctrine. It has been around for years and is still a great resource.

Good Overview of The Five Points
This booklet is an excellent overview to make the reader aware of the basics of "The Five Points of Calvinism". It would be perfect to give as a gift to your Arminian friends to explain the Calvinistic stand. Interestingly, this little booklets strength is also its weakness. At only 96 pages, one wishes that it would go deeper into each of the five points, but it only skims the surface, as it was intended to do. So, the book fulfills the purpose for which it was written. I would recommend this book for anyone who wants a "Cliff Notes" version of the Five Points of Calvinism. A good, quick read on the subject.

About TULIP
That book has strong refer to Scriptures Alone that helps to understand of God's will not man's will that avoid misinterpration by men rather study on Scripture only.

very thorough and comprehensive I would recommend
I started a course in systematic theology but found fairly early on that i needed more background and a deeper understanding of the key differences between Calvinism and Armeninanism as these were forming a large part of the discussion. This was the reason I chose to study this book. This was an easy to read and follow guide to the main 5 points of Calvinism, I thought there was a possible gap in that there wasn't a lot of the competing scriptures included to support the Armenien position but those in favour of Calvinism were comprehensive and robust. The scriptural verses were taken from the King James Version of the bible which I struggle to understand in places, that said It helped deepen my understanding when I cross referenced against the NIV.Overall I would thoroughly recommend this book to anyone wanting to go deeper in their understanding of theology and I could see it being of value to both new students and those who are further along with their studies.

Calvanism
THe book is well written. the calvanism view & Armainian view side by side, giving there theological viewpoints or reasons for picking one or the other. Very good teaching & i personally take the Calvanistic view. It is a book i will keep going to, because it has blessed & enriched my thnking on subjects like salvation & the sovreignty of God. My advice anyone who studies Bible will gain from this book in theological teaching. Paul Wigan England.
