Its a durable map, not just a paper that would rip easily. I was a little concerned about that at first but its holding up really well!

Got this to make a graphical record of our trips. This was the best example of a large map, black &white (reverse side) with country/city names. It comes with stickers. I don't see any indication that it is not compatible with dry-erase markers, so I tested it on the colored side. Might as well be using permanent markers; however, the tiny test mark in the margin did not bleed through to the B&W side (whew!). The map comes folded and so far the creases (not sharp, but more rounded) have not come out. Plan to have a frame shop mount it on foam board and maybe that will smooth it out. Could it not be shipped rolled up? This item is as advertised. Just reporting my experience with the markers and folds.

The map is amazing. My ten year old son got this map and loves it. It is easy to read and is very durable. He loves the idea of the map being double sided with different colors. The stickers are easy to put on and peel of the map. Overall, it is a really good map and I strongly recommend it.

It took me a long time to decide which map to buy since there were a lot of options, and I’m so glad I did. This map is beautiful—the colors, the font, the overall layout, the paper. It contains enough information for me to learn more about geography—which is why I purchased this in the first place—but not too much so as not to overwhelm. The paper is sturdy with such a nice feel. I also love how it has two designs which will fit any aesthetic. Overall, I’m in love with this map, and I’m sure you will, too.

Folds up small to carry IE back pack or bike riding or car. I love that it is mineral water resistant. Laminated are so heavy- this does the job! It even has removable stickers to identify needs.

I thought this world map would make a great addition to my kids bedroom. Overall I'm really happy with it!What I like:[+] Its large size (but not gigantic)! It's the perfect size for kids to read and learn from it![+] The design is stylish and done with good attention to details (the other side has a colorless design, but I really prefer the colorful side shown in the pictures!). The map actually has more than just continents, countries and capitals, it does also show various large cities across the world (for example, I was happily surprised to see "Santander" on the map of Spain, where we have relatives!)[+] It comes with sticky pins that we used to pin our location in the US, and the location of their grandparents who live in Europe, it's really great for the kids to be able to visualize it on a map.[+] My 8yo son was excited to spot countries he had to do school presentation last year, so no doubt this will be a great educational and visual tool for my kids as they continue to learn about geography in school and at home.[+] It came nicely packaged and wrapped in tissue paper, lovely presentation if offering this map as a gift to someone.My only criticism for this world map is that unfortunately it has various creases and some marks due to how it was folded in the box, one of the "folded corner" left some sorts of "bite marks" (see 3rd picture) that repeats in all 4 areas of the map, I couldn't get rid of the creases and marks despite my best efforts, but once hung to the wall it looks OK, so I am still very happy with it and recommend it for kids and adults alike!

Great value. Searched through most of the maps listed here. I needed something that was affordable, completely accurate, clear to read, option to travel with, easy to maintain. I read through several reviews and felt comfortable to choose and order. Happy customer.

This is a great 2 sided world map. You can see everything very clearly
