This is something I didn't know I needed until I saw them. I can remember using regular safety pins to cinch the waistband of pants, but that looked tacky. Sure, there are belts, but not every pair of pants have belt loops. With these, I can tighten up the waistband in a way that looks like a purposeful decoration. I'll admit that most of my pants are stretchy these days, but even so I have some jeans that I otherwise love that are a bit too big. This will fix that problem. I have a feeling I'll forget to take them out before washing, at least a few times. Hopefully I'll remember most of the time, but if I wreck a couple pins these aren't expensive so I can buy more. Cheaper than new jeans, for sure.
