Overall, the colors were easy to use, with enough pigment to thin nicely. My only complaint, as a model painter, would be for some more opacity in the colors, to allow for better use of techniques such as undershading and black basing. Still, I found myself quite satisfied and they are far better than craft paints for airbrushing.

This is my first experience with airbrush paint and I must say I was pleasantly surprised. I used it in combination with a wireless airbrush system I purchased and I was skeptical about how well these would work with the brush because the motor is lower powered than a standard airbrush air pump.Despite the limited functionality of my particular airbrush I was able to use the paints with it. The mixture of paint seemed to be fine, even for this lower powered device. The flow was constant, I didn't notice blotching or any uneven color in the strokes.Here are some notes-Colors are even and opaque-Colors can be layered once dried or blended while wet-Paints are pre-mixed and thinned and do not need solvent or binder added they are ready to use.-Paints appear to have a liquid viscosity similar to that of milk-Paints dry relatively fast -Paints did start to dry in the paint can of my brush around the edges of the can but stayed liquid for the most part.-Paints do have an acrylic odor-Did not clog my brush, making sure I cleared the nozzle of my brush with water-Wet paint was easy to clean with water but dried paint was a little more difficult to remove-Paint set includes two nozzle brushes for aid in clean upI didn't paint any pictures, rather I tested the color, opacity, and viscosity for use with an air brush and they are quality paints. The colors are vibrant and true and you get a wide range of them for many different applications.The would call the color set a standard set which comes with all of your necessary colors plus black and white. Paints come packaged in a standard cardboard box you don't get any trays or holders but the box is suitable for storing the paints in an organized fashion.I can highly suggest these paints for the application and use with airbrushes of all types. My particular tests were on basic drawing paper. I didn't try these paints on plastic, metal, wood, leather, or fabric.Great set for beginner or advanced user.A+ product.

The colors are nice and I like the addition of the metallic and pearl colors. The consistency of the paint however is very thin. It is like airbrushing with water. Even at very low pressures you get spiderwebbingand splatter. A little thicker consistency and the addition of a thinner would be nice as to allow you to get the perfect mix.

So my review is as a novice. The colors seem good and bright. I don't know if i didn't mix well enough on a few but they seemed to look different at different times of use. They sprayed fairly easy. Learning curb on getting the technique down. Clean up was ok.

This really is a great assortment of paint colors for those getting started in airbrush. They are properly thinned and spray well if you keep the airbrush clean. You'll definitely want to expand your pallet, but this will give you a good start.

Lots of colors and they are ready to use. Being water-based, they are easier to clean up.

Some of the colors, particularly the Grass Green, separate really quickly so I had to completely take apart and clean my airbrush midway through and start using a bit of flow additive. Colors are great though, and the price is even better. Just gotta remember to shake the bottle every time you pick it up.
