Babies Absolute Favorite Book
My LO is 19mo and this is by far his favorite book, every day we read it at least ten times. Even if I’m not ready it to him he’s paging through the pictures. Why are board books with picture of real kids so hard to find, they’re by far the preference of my LO. He likes to wave to the boy at the beginning of the book and high-five the boy at the end of the book, it’s very cute. He also will give a hug to whoever’s reading to him when you get to the “hands can say I love you” page. Highly recommend this book, personally I wish the board book itself was a little stronger and maybe some of the photography could be a little bit better but my LO loves this book so whatever.

Simple book with pictures that toddlers love
Nice book, I've read it over and over and my toddler loves it. Like most toddlers she is obsessed with looking at other toddlers, and this book fits the bill. It has nice simple verbs like "catch" and "throw" and some more advanced ones like "fix" and "mix." Obviously it rhymes. The cardboard is nice and think as well, it's holding up much better than some other board books.

Wonderful book for 1yo! Buy it!
I didn’t know what to expect but my 14 month old son LOVES this book. Each page has an action that he loves to do- hands can... hug, clap, reach up high and down low, play peek a boo, wave bye bye. Perfect. So cute. And love the diversity of the children featured in the book. A+ grade from me (and I’m a teacher)!

Though some images in the book could have been presented better IMHO, my 1 yr old loves this book
For a book about things that kids can do with their hands, there are some obscure images where it's really tough to see what kids are doing with their hands! Anyway my daughter loves the ball throwing images, clapping, peekaboo, and hello/bye pages (and those are the most straightforward, clear images). So the book is worth it for those, I guess.

A Favorite!
I wish I had bought this sooner. My 2-year-old and 4-year-old adore this book. The photographs are from the 90s, but the kids don't notice.I love that the book features boys and girls of different ethnicities and skin tones. The rhyming text is easy but not too simple.A very sturdy and well-mannered book.

A favorite!
This is my daughter's favorite book! It is a sturdy, slightly oversized board book about all the things that hands can do. Each spread features photographs of children engaged in activities familiar for young children (clapping, waving, hugging, playing peekaboo, etc.). The text is straightforward and alternating spreads rhyme. It is a great book for getting toddlers engaged with the story because they can mimic many of the scenes in the text. My one year old wants to read this book again and again.

Great for Montessori homes!
We have a 16 month old. We read this book MANY times a day, and now each page has its own hand movement to go with it. Love it!

My toddler loves this book
Such a simple yet brilliant book. Makes such a change from a million talking farm animal books. This book actually engages my 18 month old, he’s obsessed! Asks for it again and again and copies the actions too!

Kids liked
Read to my preschool class. It's quite simple but for a beginning of the year book it worked out. Used it for a lesson where we think about good things hands are for rather than hitting or pushing. I wanted something different than "Hands are not for Hitting" this year. The students liked that it was photos of real children doing things.

Great book
Highly recommended book for toddlers even for infant. My 3 y.o and 9 months love this book. We already memorize the words in it. We cannot get over how educational and fun this book
