Maped 30cm Aluminium Ruler (2 Sided Scale and Protect System)

300mm long Aluminium ruler, with protective rubber end caps. 40mm wide ruler which is very stable during use. Centre " D " handle to lift ruler off paper. Not suitable for use with sharp blades as cutting rule. One long edge mm calibration, 1mm - 300mm reading left to right. Other long edge calibrated from centre. 1 - 150mm, left reading and 1 -150mm , right reading. Beautiful measuring instrument to use on natural timbers in joinery shop and drawing board.

Ummmm, its a ruler. Its aluminium, its curved and has rubber 'feet' at both ends.

I purchased this product on behalf of a friend, and this is what they said about it. "It was okay, and suitable for the purpose it was designed for".

Very poor. Two reviewers mentioned rubber feet at each end suggesting the ruler was non-slip. They are hard plastic not rubber and they lift the ruler off the paper making it more difficult to measure accurately. They also disguise the fact that the ends of the aluminium ruler are not cut square. On the plus side, the markings are clear and easy to read and the top and bottom scales almost line up correctly.

Vraiment bien pour mon fils, elle est résistante, ne s'abime pas, et résiste donc au cartable manié sans trop de délicatesse !

Mi serviva un righello in metallo per utilizzarlo quando utilizzo il cutter (trincetto) poichè quello in plastica finiva per essere intaccato ad ogni passaggio.Il righello in questione fa il suo lavoro ed è rigido e leggero. Ottima la presenza della maniglietta per tenerlo ben saldo.Comprato per l'ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo.

Cumple mis expectativas al cien por cien. Ligera y buena. Poco más hay que decir al fin y al cabo es sólo una regla.

Das Aluminium-Lineal habe ich vor allem deshalb gekauft, weil ich immer wieder mit einem Cuttermesser gerade Schnitte aus Papier und anderen flachen Materialien benötige. Kunststofflineale funktionieren zwar auch, allerdings wird die Kante durch unachtsame Fehlstellungen des Cuttermessers dann doch immer wieder schnell schartig. Das Aluminium-Lineal ist da doch sehr viel stabiler.Sehr sinnvoll ist die Skalierung. Eine Seite ist durchgehend von 0-30 cm, die andere erleichtert die Mittenfindung duch eine 15-0-15-Skala.Ungünstig sind allerdings die durch Kunststoffkappen geschützten Enden. Bei langen Schnitten gibt es da doch immer wieder "Nasen" aufgrund von Ablenkungen. Glücklicherweise lassen sich die Kappen - wenn auch mit einigem Kraftaufwand - abziehen.Insofern: Klare Kaufempfehlung, wenn man so etwas benötigt.
