Connects easy and ready to go, easy to use

I find a separate numeric keyboard is easier to use than the Apple integrated numeric keyboard. Quality of this is good with a reasonable key action. Only gripe is the fact it uses micro-USB not Lightning or USB-C for the charging cable, meaning I have to have another cable connected. As it is not cheap this is an annoying oversight.it connects without drama and battery life seems reasonable.

I use it daily in my office. A great addition to apple’s keyboard.

Perfect match with the Apple Magic Keyboard 2. Looks Great. But that's the good news. Key feeling comes nowhere near the way the Apple keyboard feels. Even worse there is a very noticeable difference between the left and the right keys. The + and Enter key are okey with a soft smooth click although the travel between pressed and unpressed key is almost double that of the Apple keyboard. Pressing the 4, 7 and Clear keys on the left side however produce a very unpleasant loud clicking making the whole sub-chassis underneath the aluminium top moving down. If you press the 4 key for example the 1, 7 and Clear go down as well. I did a comparison with a db Meter. Apple Keyboard < 32 dB Enter on the Satechi keypad = 42 db Pressing the 7 key on the Satech keypad = 53 db I find the overal quality unacceptable at this price point !

Although I bought this with a Black Friday + additional % discount, the overall quality and performance didn't merit even that price. Why? 1. The numerals and other characters are simply just some form of transfer applied to the keys. I doubt these would stand the test of time 2. It puts itself into sleep mode to save battery, but there's a consequent lag when you go to use a key to wake it up again 3. It has bluetooth, obviously, but it does not communicate the battery level to monitor via my Mac. So high likelihood of being caught short. 4. The scissor sprung keys do not all have the same 'feel'. Some are distinctly less springy and more clattery. If you are wanting one to extend the compact Apple Magic keyboard, it certainly doesn't do that other than its physical shape - no additional F, DEL (essential I think) or Page up/down keys. If you can find one, Belkin do something that might be your best bet all round. I don't usually like to give such negative reviews, but it's hard to find much positive to say about this unit. When a very decent calculator for 1/3 of the price of this unit can be manufactured, you have to ask what's going on. Satechi do make some other computer kit that is really very good - I have the hub with SSD slot for a Mac Mini and can't fault that for quality of price.

Super pavé numérique, il vaut son prix, couplage facile sur mac, se mari bien avec le clavier apple, les touches sont un peu moins agréable que les touche du clavier apple mais il rempli parfaitement ses fonctions !! Je recommande

Lo compré porque tengo el teclado corto de mac que es super incómodo para utilizar los números. Y a mí me hace falta trabajar con un teclado extra. No me parece justo que mac, después de gastarte una pasta en su ordenador, te de el teclado básico más barato...así que busqué un complemento y me arriesgué con este teclado numérico y no puedo estar más contenta. Lo cargas y te olvidas, se sincroniza fácilmente con el mac, cosa que agradezco y es un detalle por parte de apple.. y funciona super bien. Eso sí, cuando dejas de utilizarlo tienes que darle dos o tres veces a la tecla como para que despierte el teclado, como que se pone de reposo, si te pasa es eso, que le tienes que despertar, pero sigue funcionando estupendamente. Yo estoy muy contenta con mi compra.

Trotz der teilweise schlechten Rezensionen habe ich diesen Artikel bestellt. Diese Entscheidung hat sich als richtig herausgestellt. Ich kann die schlechten Bewertung nicht wirklich nachvollziehen. O. k. das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist vielleicht ungünstig. Der Preis fließt aber diese Bewertung nicht ein, weil das Produkt ja auch mal billiger werden kann. Und hohe Preise sind Apple Kunden ja eh gewohnt, ha ha ha! Die Verarbeitung finde ich finde ich relativ hochwertig, aber nicht ganz so wie die Apple Tastatur. Das Design ist perfekt zur kabellosen Tastatur des iMac Retina. Der eingebaute Akku hält nun schon drei Arbeitswochen, bei einer 40 Stundenwoche. Habe bisher nicht einmal nachgeladen. O. k., ich hatte nicht den ganzen Tag auf der Zahlentastatur herum und sie schaltet sich bei Nichtgebrauch ab. Die Bluetooth-Verbindung wird sehr schnell aufgebaut, auch wenn das Gerät aus dem Stand-by Modus geholt wird. Ich kann den Kauf in jedem Fall empfehlen!

Materiali esterni: alluminio, plastica dura, piedini in gomma. Giudizio: complessivamente di buon livello, ma non eccellente nei dettagli. Fedele stile della nuova tastiera mac con ricarica integrata. Difetti: gli alloggi dei tasti non sono perfettamente profilati nell' alluminio, ma questo è visibile solo ad un occhio molto pignolo; i numeri e i simboli dei tasti sono apposti con adesivo termico, ma ben saldi e non scalfibili con la semplice usura; l' alloggio della ricarica un filino non allineato, ma non si fa nessuna fatica ad inserire il cavetto. Connessione: bluetooth, wireless. Ricarica: cavetto usb. Funzionalità: ottima; battuta dei tasti abbastanza buona. Per l' associazione al Mac ripetere più volte l' abbinamento nel caso in cui non rilevasse il tastierino al primo tentativo. Led: si accende solo in fase di ricarica o per segnalare l' esaurimento della batteria o in fase di associazione bluetooth. Rapporto qualità/prezzo: medio, il prodotto varrebbe un costo inferiore. Consigliato: SI.

Från viloläge till användarläge så tar det en 5-6 sekunder i responstid. Har "punkt ..", inte "komma,,", som decimalavdelning. Fungerar inte i alla program som decimalkomma. Lite irriterande. Annars en rejäl i "Mac kvalitet och stil"
