Works as described, pretty much a must have for apple screen removal.

Bee's Knees for sure
I think my first 5 star review. This is the way to go. A little tension, a little heat. Let it sit and relax a bit, repeat. Might take hours, but no gouges from prying with tools. Makes for a nice professional repair. I had help in that I had popped my phone out of it's case and noticed the screen already coming off (battery was swollen)I looked to see if there were any 3D printing models, but no. And for $25 vs time to print, buying is the way to go. But supporting ifixit is a good thing. They have a LOT of good guides. (Still might CAD one up. Still fits the ifixit philosophy)

Works Real Good!
Fantastic tool, does the job very easy, where the usual suction cup with ring to pull always is a struggle. Just apply this tool, going easy (just a 1/4 turn no more) and it will lift the screen enough to insert a plastic triangle to cut the adhesive around the screen, for removal of the screen. Must not get in a hurry though, or end up breaking the glass screen!

Works but will test your patience a little till you figure out the quirks
I bought this to help change out the ear piece on my IPhone12. The instructions are good and it works but you must hold the tightener as it lifts to keep it from slipping to the release side. Heat and a razor help to remove the screen. It did work and was cheap. I do not regret the purchase. Hope it was a one time necessity.

Works very well!
Used this to help replace the battery in my iPhone 15 pro max. Very nice to have something constantly pulling on the front and back glass while you're heat gunning the phone.I will say that if you're back or front glass is broken, it will make it harder for the suction cups to stay attached. ifixit does provide assorted stickers to help with that but sometimes they just dont have enough coverage.Overall, very good product and would buy again if i needed to.

Didn't work all that great....
Attempted to use this on a recent repair for my business thinking it would make the process easier, but it did not... The repair was for an iPad 5 Mini, and the clamp almost broke before it even came close to lifting the screen. Honestly kind of mad I spent almost $30 on this thing. For phones, it might be great, I haven't tried it on a phone yet, but I will here soon, as I have an iPhone 13 Pro scheduled to come in for a charger port replacement. Will update review as to how well it opens a phone.....Update after using on a phone: Literally a waste of $30. The suction cup on the back of the phone pops off long before it has enough pressure to start lifting a screen. Absolute rip off of a product. Do not buy this. Just use some microfiber cloth, and some clamps, and a regular suction cup, and don't waste your money....
