GRANT Deluxe Hardwood Growhouse Mini Greenhouse

Probably the worst product I have ever ordered. The first one arrived minus various screws, a latch and 2 base plates ( apparently you only need 2mbase plates not 4 as stated in the instructions) called the supplier who knew what was missing before I told him and said he would post the missing items. Then tried to erect it only to find that one of the side panels had a big split in the wood rendering it unusable. Called again and they said a replacement would be sent which duly arrived the following day. Second one not much better than the first, one of the shelves was broken on arrival and the dowels on the doors do not align on . The screws are useless, even if you drill pilot holes for the screws the heads come off as they are so weak. Once we finally managed to cobble one together using bits from both - the finished result looks ok and seems reasonably sturdy - time will tell. Customer service was excellent - they clearly know it's a rubbish product so no quibbles about sending out replacement parts but I would definitely not recommend.

I decided to buy this hardwood growhouse, rather than one of the cheaper flimsy ones. .It arrived securely packaged with reasonably clear instructions for assembly and took about three hours to put together - although two pairs of hands were definitely needed.Even so it wasn't all that easy as some pieces seemed slightly warped. The bottom shelf had to be forced into place and the front doors were a devil to position properly . The predrilled holes for the hinges were little more than marks on the wood so a gimlet was required, and several screws had to be replaced as the heads sheered off. A powered screwdriver would certainly have speeded things along!But now it's up it seems solid enough and looks good next to the garage so should last a few years.

This was very difficult to put together, the screws kept snapping off and parts were missing. The shelved did not fit in the frame so had to be cut to size, my husband was of the mindset as we had already started to put it together he would just finish it and as we had to use different screws we probably could not send it back. Lastly the top sheet of Perspex that is in the lid does not fit so keeps slipping out the frame so not sure how long that will last till we have to get a new one. All in all not overly impressed and I had always wanted one of these :(

I have given a 5 star rating because this is exactly what I was looking for. very easy to assemble , a bradle is useful and some small quality screws . I also used pva glue to make joins stronger. I had read other reviews and opted for this model ,it took about 20-25 minutes to assemble. I have nearly 200 small pots for bringing plants on inside and would recommend to anybody who is struggling for space or as I was, just looking for a decent cold frame for bringing bedding plants on in.

Was easy to construct apart from the 2 broken sections of wood. Getting replacement parts was hassle free and arrived within 2 days.Has kept us constantly supplied with fresh cut and grow salads once I got the main seedlings planted out.

Good solid growhouse and it looks good. As per other reviews - but some screws that are decent quality as the ones which come with this sheer. However, I am the world's worst DIY person and I could put it together easily enough.

Cant wait for the spring as it is ideal for my small garden and should hold a lots of seedlings.

Flimsy and not complete ... I couldn't return it because I was away for over a month .... not value for money and I wouldn't recommend it
