Works great. Just make sure you know one thing.
Really great product that fits perfectly. The only thing to make sure you know and they say this in the description is that the Porsche console lid doesn’t stay open so it has to rest on the cup but it’s so much better than no cup holders!

No worries
The oem holders are flimsy. This was a great solution. Fit perfect, hold my cups without worry and looks clean without that ugly aftermarket look. Never used the center console anyway.

Fits our car, but not the best design!
We have a 1999 Porche Boxster and it fits in our car! The one downfall is the lid of the center counsel has to lay on the cups in the holder and is easy to cause spills if you are not careful when getting in and out of the car if the cup holders are full.

Usable but not a perfect option
Fits properly in my '01 Boxster, however the usability is limited as the box cover does not stay open on its own, so it must lean on top of your cups in the holder...a bit inconvenient.

Fits my 2004 Porsche Boxster S Special Edition
This item fits my 2004 Porsche Boxster S Special Edition center console like a glove and has enough space to facilitate two large fountain drinks. When the center console is closed, I can still lock it with the cup holder installed. Therefore, I don't have to use the dash drink holder because it is flimsy and blocks the air vents. I am very happy with this item.

Be aware console lid doesn't stay up.
Console lid closes on you while driving. Need a prop for that now! Fits good otherwise.

Perfect fit and looks like it was always there.
This is almost too easy, beats the trickly little units put into subsequent years about the glove box. Open the box, open the center console, drop it in and close the lid. Done.
