The Art of Cursive Handwriting: A Self-Teaching Workbook

I found this book to be useful to me but I only wanted to refresh my knowledge so for me it could have been greatly condensed without so many exercise pages. The cursive uppercase G doesn’t look anything like a G and I will use a printed uppercase G instead.

I am pleased with this book. I was expecting a small A5-size edition but it turned out to be a larger A4-size which I prefer. It's clearly writtten and easy to read but a book for adults. I was taught plain basic lettering in the days of pen and ink. I then took a speedwriting course which ruined my handwriting so that it deteriated into a scribble that only I can interpret. Because I do a lot of notetaking, I've found recently that I cannot always read my notes, so I am determined to improve my handwriting again. I want to emulate my mothers lovely cursive script which always impressed me. I shall do half-an-hour's practice a night.

This book is very easy to learn from. for me I like the diagram simple letter forming I think its a nice hobby to learn and to be more creative with my writing

Bought for my son who's in Year 11 as he badly needed to improve his handwriting. The book is nice and big with clear guidance on now to write properly and improve.

I held off giving this book a higher rating because the capital letters were limited and simple - The capital G looks nothing like a G to me. Options for more decorative capital letters, along with the simpler ones, would have got this book 5 stars from me.

A great book for both adults and children! Plenty of exercises and easy to follow instructions.

Great instruction book with space to practice. The book does individual letters, upper and lower case, but also words to show you how to link them together, which is very useful.

Bought for my granddaughter (7) and she has enjoyed learning how to improve her handwriting
