I have built feral cat shelters from 2-inch blue foam insulation, with a heating pad, and this shelter is the best thing I have built or found online - a fiberglass internal frame provides excellent strength and stability. The insulated, waterproof exterior fastens over the frame with wide velcro strips, making the whole thing rock solid, although it is light-weight, and easy to move around, Additionally, the entire shelter is lined with reflective mylar, keeping body heat in the shelter, regardless of weather, and the doorway is easily accessible, and can be fastened open for warm weather. The shelter can be staked to the ground for windy conditions, and the cord exits the structure through a slotted opening that keeps the weather and rain out. I just installed the Small shelter on my back porch, which is perfect for a single kitty, and I will probably be installing a second. The only thing I would like is a longer cord - five feet isn't quite long enough for every situation, although it will work fine for me. BUY. THIS. SHELTER.

Excellent quality. They thought of everything. Has escape door. Separate entrance hall and sleeping room. Large size comes with heat pad. So glad I got it. Hope my feral cat finds it and uses it. Will let you know what happens next.

Very sturdy, great for outdoor kitties, and strays. I put a blanket inside, and it stays warm and cozy during the bitter cold days/nights. There’s a flap that you can put over the entry to hold the heat in and keep the rain out.

This cat house is nice. It was easy to assemble, seems sturdy, and it is warm inside. The measurements are accurate, its just the one picture shows like a 4 foot child standing by it, so the size perception is off. There was not a room divider like the one photo shows, but we do have 2 outdoor feral cats that will fit in it, so its all good. I have had it for 3 days now with no issues.

We just received the small cuboid model today. We have a petite female feral that has been hanging around our house for weeks. She is very skiddish and not likely going to become an indoor cat but fell in love with our 65lb Heeler (really weird!) Our temperatures are plummeting in northern WI so we wanted to find an insulated cat house for her. After reviewing many, we chose this one. Needless to say, with a little coaxing by placing some cat treats inside, she cautiously moved in. Clawsable has really put together a premium product! The insulated walls are very well constructed with true insulation while being waterproof. We went with the heated model that includes a very soft covered heating pad. It is not temp controllable, but lightly warms without being too much. Between the pad and the insulation, you can feel a temp difference inside the cat house! It is currently 10°F with 10-15 mph winds so we chose to give her first night a trial run inside our garage. The photo should say it all! If you're on the market for a cat shelter, this is the one!

Product is well done and should endure the many weather that can happen. Easy to assemble and has secure hold downs to keep the unit in place

We purchased a large and small one of each last November and they appeared to work ok but when we took off the covers to wash them, it had burned the plastic and on the small one singed the cover as well. (Photo is of the washed cover, my mom doesn't have a cell phone to take photos). I thought they ran a little warm, and obviously it's too warm to be safe. It's a miracle these didn't burn the barn down or burn the cats. You might be better off with a regular cat house and a heating pad.The cat house itself is well made and sturdy, I just don't think the heating element is safe.

This has been my favorite purchase! I am so happy with the quality. It was easy to put it together and after doing so I allowed my inside cats to try it out. Very easy for a cat to figure it out and use it. They had so much fun hiding and playing in it. I am excited to try it out outside for any cats looking for shelter in my neighborhood. I had set up a makeshift area before our big snow storm but It wasn't weather proof enough. This will be a wonderful, cozy shelter to offer a stray on a cold or wet day.

We have a feral cat that has been haunting us since August So many baby steps with this one It is starting to get cold and I mean cold Think cold like the Arctic This box surrounded by an outside insulated area is perfect We have had it for two weeks and last night I watched ‘Joey’ go right inside for the first time So so happy great product really well made

Ce petite cabane est bien pour quand le chat de passage aura froid.Facile à assembler. Et bonne grandeur pour que le petit puisse garder sa chaleur. J’ai mit 4 étoiles car le tapis chauffant diffuse une chaleur légère. J’espère qu’elle suffira à des températures très froid.

I'm quite pleased with this little house. The material is thicker than I thought it was gonna be. I thought maybe I'd have to add some extra insulation, but I'm now that I've seen it, I think it's good as is. I like the D-rings I was able to secure it to the deck so it won't get stolen or blow/tip over. And although we got it for the stray cat we feed, my house cat thinks it's for her. Pictures included.
