This review is actually for the crochet kit shown-not Pom poms. DO NOT get this kit if you have minimal crochet experience. I’ve only completed the tree so far but I can tell you several cons for this product. First, the yarn easily splits into strands while crocheting so it’s not beginner friendly yarn. Second, the video is very hard to understand. The narrator has a very strong Asian accent that is difficult to understand. Plus, the video goes through the stitches very quickly. At times, the narration talks over itself. Last but not least, the video instructions don’t match the written instructions, at least on the tree. Second, the written instructions for the tree have an error. Starting at Level 2, and every level after that, Rnd 2 should be 1 ch, inc*6 times, ss=12 sts. Third, there are 2 hooks in the kit but nothing tells you which hook to use for each piece. The tree turned out really nice but the instructions are very lacking and the yarn quality is not great.

Terrible instructions and video not helpful

There’s no QR code for video tutorials. The directions might as well be in another language for a beginner. I don’t see anywhere where I can contact company and ask for the videos and a search doesn’t pull them up either. Looks like everything in the kit is nice, but if you’re a beginner this isn’t the kit for you. The other reviews shown seem to be on Pom poms not on this kit.

The instructions for this project were terrible. Lots of typos, important missing details. There was not enough yarn to finish the projects.
