Design It, Knit It: Babies

Recovering from a serious accident, my brain could not cope with much and I needed some quick simple knitting that I could complete quickly. I couldn't find many baby patterns I liked and chose this because there were basic ones I could tweak. Some more tiny ones would have been good, there was a picture of socks, and the sentence that they were better than bootees, but no pattern. Useful needle measure and ruler in back, It is a good starting point for adapting patterns.

Received the book yesterday, and there are at least 3 knits, I am keen to try. Have spent the day trying to purchase the wool, but it would appear that this will have to be online, as no local stockists in my area. It would have been nice to see the colours before purchasing, and by the time I pay for the wool, and the postage, one of the tops i would like to make will cost approx £25, add on the cost of the book and works out rather an expensive top. Perhaps this is a lesson for me, and I should have done more research into the availability of the wool. The book itself is as described, and in good condition, and although it took a day longer than the estimated date is was well packed and I am pleased with it.

Was a bit disappointed as to the design element Thought you could design your own patterns but some cute baby patterns.

A very useful little reference book with useful tips to enhance knitting projects along with some patterns to get started or improve your skills.
