Lightweight, easy to use. Strong enough to pick up jeans on the floor or cat bowl of food, precise enough to pick up cat toy (small ball). I liked being able to order 2 in a box, I keep one upstairs and one downstairs.edit: have had these awhile now. I don't know how I ever lived without them, seriously. If you got back or knee problems or other reasons you shouldn't be bending over (I also have eye problems) these are a game changer. I no longer have to wonder when I drop something if its really worth all the effort to get down to pick it up LOL. I'm 49 and try to be as active as possible but I got alot of health problems and I'm not one to use stuff like this but I bought because I have retinal issues and I was told not to bend down so much. I ended up finding out I use these for everything! Pick up clothes off the floor, pick up the dog/cat bowls and put them back down, pick up laundry off floor, pick up shoes out of closet and sometimes use to help hold shoe so I can get foot in. Even been great with the cat, she likes to play with the toy ball so its easy for me to pick up and toss back too her. And the fact that there are 2 of these helps to make sure one is close by or you can leave in a car to take with you, etc. Even helps with house work, my mother...LOVES...throw rugs lol, so when I vac her house I used to have to squat down to get under them, I just carry this around with me and use it to pick up an edge of the carpet and get under the rug. You will be amazed at how often you use these.

These grabbers work great for us. In fact we ordered our second set. They are sturdy and work really well! I keep one in the garage with my mower...its great for getting things out of the way. One for the kitchen, one for the bedside and one for the living room. Originally ordered due to a great price (for 2). Forgot to mention the magnet on the side... its quite strong for the size and comes in handy. No complaints on the product. Boxed nicely, easy to adjust. Recommend to anyone needing a grabber.

These are amazing! I had back surgery and I can't bend, twist or lift. I was struggling to do anything, was dropping things and had to wait for my husband to help pick them up. I can lift jars out of the closet, pick up dropped pills from the floor and pick up everything in between. The only thing is that it can't pick up anything wider than 3". However, with a little bit of manipulation, I've figured out how to pick up anything that I need. And there are 2 - one for upstairs and one for downstairs. Perfect!

Updated review 4/30:After using these for roughly 2 weeks 5-6 days a week, one pair no longer closes all the way so it doesn’t pick up smaller items. Not sure it I used it to aggressively or what. The other pair is still going strong.Original review:Several months ago I decided that I wanted to start picking up trash on my daily walks. After a couple weeks of touching some really questionable/nasty items I decided gloves weren’t enough and took a chance on these grabbers. If you pick up trash or really need it for picking up items due to a bad back, this is your sign to buy this! They’re vey light weight, durable and pick up pretty heavy items (full water bottles). I love that there’s a cord for your wrist and that you can change the direction of the grabber piece!

I ordered these after having surgery to help pick up stuff on the floor without bending over. I use them for so many things now and realize I should have ordered them a long time ago. They are so handy. I actually even grabbed a mouse I saw in the house and relocated it without touching it or setting a trap. I love these grabber's. They are built very well and even have small magnets in the tips if you drop a nail and don't want to bend over to get it. Really cool product.

I bought these 4/14 (now 4/26) after fracturing my pelvis and relying on a walker for a while.I've bought a grabber or two in the past 65 years and this one seems to have a better grip than those old ones, and is decent enough now. I wish it was strong enough to use to pull a chain to change ceiling fan speed, but it's not. But I suspect no "cheapie" brand does.I was pleasantly surprised to find it folds and the grabber swivels in case you need it to.My only regret is buying a 32" when longer ones are available. But, this is working for me and I'll continue using them until I somehow/some way need another 8 inches. :)

I am elderly and confined to a wheelchair. My wife and I sit for three grandsons all under the age of three. This reacher allows me to assist my wife in picking up after our beloved, but messy grandchildren. Works very well, can pick up small pieces, glad we bought them!!

After back surgery on April 4th, I was in need of a grabber to help with reaching items. The order came with 2 allowing me to have one in the den and the other in the bedroom. I can’t say enough good things about these grabbers. They are extremely well made and can pick up the smallest item. After eating popcorn, I had several pieces of popcorn on the floor. The grabber picked up each piece, even an unpopped kernal. The grabber has also been helpful in reaching larger items from the cabinets.The grabber is lightweight and easy to use. I highly recommend this item!
