Children's animated film featuring the voices of Malcolm McDowell, Whoopi Goldberg and Howie Mandell. The year is 3000. In the ultra-modern city of Scamboville, Geppetto (Emilio Freixas) lives in a tiny house with a little garden, hidden amongst the towers and giant video screens. A craftsman from the old school, Geppetto loves to invent and tinker with computers. But one thing is missing from his life: a son.

Good looking and very enjoyable children's film
I have seen this film twice on Cartoon Network with my son aged 5 and we have both enjoyed it immensely. The computer graphics are amazing and, bearing in mind this is a children's film, the storyline is very appealing. Glad to see it coming out on DVD.

Great Modern Update to a Classic
This a great more modern updated version of Pinocchio and is a great fun film with really good animation for the time and still looks good now. My nephew loves this now after purchased a bunch of cartoons and films etc for nieces and nephews of various ages to watch during a very long road trip to keep them all focused and entertained! Great service, quick delivery.

Pinocchio 3000
I saw this film on the plane back from Canada and thought the CGI animation was fantastic. My little boy was enthralled for the whole hour and a half and has since been asking on a daily basis to see it again! As a piece of computer Generated animation, it is superb. The quality floods through at every level - just admire the way they do hair, or liquids, or shadows, or reflections, or the subtlety of the backgrounds, or the depth of the 3-dimensional feel. The images are sharp, the colour ablaze with life, the movement and emotion beautifully captured. It is a magnificent invitation to explore a futuristic world, and you are instantly caught up and carried away.
