It is easy to charge these, and power them up. They are started with a flick of the wrist, but that takes some trials: it is not clear exactly how that should work.They are called boomerangs, and they can be, but the directions (at least the English directions) are pretty much obscure and useless for creating such exact flights. Instead the kids throw them in various ways, and end up scooting around the yard chasing them, sometimes for a bit of a distance. They love them.I am trying to figure out how to create a gentle boomerang movement. It seems to take more of a gentle shove after caressing and stabilizing the ball. You want to go into at most a gentle wind, with "UP" on the top, positioned flat with a tilt, and a gentle, level, slightly upward push, and it can work pretty well.They end up rolling, bouncing, flashing, and careening all over the place. They shut off at various times after a flight, though it is unclear to me when. The plastic cage seems just find to prevent injury or damage.These are an interesting challenge, and fun in spite of all this, and I plan to buy more.

Yup, I'm now the #1 Grandparent. I purchased for the grandkids and everyone loves them... even the parents. These are ready to try out of the box and so much fun. They are easy to operate and learn how to make the fun happen. Bright and colorful lights and sooooo durable. We had a few "crashes" as we were learning and getting the hang of it. One of the parents said, "Wow, these things are durable". You will not be disappointed if you give these a try. Adults and kids alike will enjoy these for sure.

I bought these for my adult sons, their girlfriends, and grandson. They had the best time playing with them! The battery life is pretty good - thirty or so minutes - which is a long time for adults to run around chasing light up flashing floating balls in the yard in the dark. The balls crashed into walls and shrubbery and ricocheted off hands and fingertips with no damage. Lots of laughter, giggling, and fun! They are sturdy and come with their own chargers. I bought packs of two so everyone had a toy. I highly recommend.

I bought a pack of two of these for both of my littles. They are so easy and fun to use they both came fully charged and ready to go. We have bought different brands in the past however these actually work compared to those. We have 12 foot ceilings so to see the ball fly almost to the top and come back down is so much fun for the kids. Even our dog enjoys playing. They have hit the ground several times and never had any signs of breaking which is a big plus.

This is a very fun flying ball that is so fun for the whole entire family, young and old individuals to play with. Recommend playing the ball in a wide-open space so it does not hit the walls or furniture. I enjoy the flashing lights and that the ball is light weight and easy to play with. The kids had a lot of fun hitting it back and forth. Its very neatly designed and brightly lit. Good exercise as well. Thumbs up.

Bought 2 of these for my Grandboys. They cannot stop playing with them. For the price they are hard to beat and provide sheer enjoyment. As with any battery powered device it would be better if batteries never went dead, but being rechargeable makes that tolerable. A note on indoor use they tend to be a bit on noisy side. Boys play with them outside as they go quite high. Overall money well spent highly recommend.
