Bought this for my 7th grade grandson who wears husky sizes. The 18-20 fits well with a bit of room for growth. Impressed with the quality, fit, and look of the bomber-style jacket. While we live in the Southwest, we do have some cold days in the December-February months with an occasional snow day. This coat is sure to be more than enough to keep him warm. I wish the hood were detachable, but that's not a deal breaker by any means. Highly recommend.

I live in Wisconsin and winter here can be brutal, mainly the cold wind. As in right now, temperatures can drop down in 20s or lower at night and in between 30s and 40s during the day. For that, I’m a huge fan of Canada Weather Gear coats for my kids. Even though my son is only turning 6 the end of December this year, I got size 8 in the color oak and it fits like an oversized. More than enough room to layer underneath. I wish there was a size 7 in this style, but that’s okay. I normally like getting larger coats size so it will last for a few years and I dislike when the sleeves don’t go pass the wrist. The coat is semi light weight which is less heavy then the current one he’s been wearing. Made with nice durable material that’s water resistant. Large, deep hand pockets and two additional decent size chest pockets. One on the inside and the other on the outside. Fleece lined hood is a plus. I did a comparison to his current coat he has been wearing size he was 3 going onto 4, (same brand, fur trim hood, size 5/6) for visual. He’s 3 ft 10.5 in and weighs 49.4 lbs.

This jacket fits our husky sized son great. He uses a wheelchair and needs a shorter length of jacket and plenty of room overall in order to wheel his wheelchair. It is very warm too!

My son says it’s comfortable it keeps him warm it’s true to size it’s worth the price I bought two one for my niece. Will recommend to anyone.

In brought the blue one in a size 14-16 and my child is 13 1/2 it fit him perfect definitely would not fit him next year . So if you want it big get a size bigger. And the coat is thin too
