Vulkan Back With Stays Neoprene Support - Navy Blue/Red, One Size

The service and delivery was excellent. Relief was immediate and the application and use couldn't be simpler, it is just a one size fits all back support that works. The support is comfortable to wear and unobtrusive and I would recommend this as an effective and not expensive solution to back pain.

I bought this support belt as I have torn a muscle in my lower back (over the kidney area) and needed to ease the pain, provide support and restrict movement a little. The belt arrived very quickly and has been brilliant. It really is a "one size fits all" as it is a velcro closure folding around your waist and clasping onto itself. It keeps the back warmish but not hot and I have been wearing it all day from first thing until about 6pm when I feel I should take it off and exercise a little. I can still move well in it but it supports my back and reminds me not to move quickly. I intend to continue to use it when gardening or doing physical work after my back has healed for the extra support it provides. I heartily recommend this belt for anyone who has a back ache or back muscle problem.

This replaced a previous back support after the Velcro had worn out. The Vulkan support is a one piece design unlike my other support that had two additional overlapping straps.I was wary about a one piece design but the support fits well and is comfortable to wear. It is wide enough to provide adequate support without being too bulky when digging on my allotment.Would recommend it for a general everyday use providing you remember it is a support and not a cure for a serious back issue!

As you can see above, deeply disappointed with this product. It seems the belt is two separate pieces of fabric , stitched together at the back. Unfortunately this stitching started to pull apart after one wear. I have had one of these supports years ago and I'm sure it was one complete piece of elasticated material,unlike this. So, is this a knock off product or just poorly made, I don't know, but unfort I have no choice but to give it the above rating,although I did get my money refunded.

Great Belt and fast delivery. The extra 'stays' make the belt much more rigid than the standard belt. I have now used both. The standard belt I bought about 20 years ago and has been great. Now with age and my job also involves standing for over 12 hours a day and includes lifting, my back pain is now more prominent. The extra 'stays' now give me more rigidity in my lower back to help me get through the day. The belt won't cure any problems but does make my day a little more comfortable. Much happy now.

After reading the good reviews for this item I purchased it. I intended to use it for fork and spade garden work and the odd bit of lifting. It's does a fine job of supporting the lower back when it stays in place, and lies the problem in that it far to easily rides up your back and you find yourself constantly having to pull it back into place.Also there was a few that said how wonderful warming it is. I agree but due to its material it then causes you to massively sweat just in that local lower spine area.I'm having to use it until I find a more suitable replacement but i would say if you are after a support belt for very light garden work like just pulling out the out weed this might be a good buy for you but if you intend to actually do a bit of real garden type work then ovoid.

It gives support and becomes very warm to the back. The negative side is it makes you sweat a lot so vest is soaking.
