Audien ATOM PRO 2 Wireless Rechargeable OTC Hearing Aid, Premium Comfort Design and Nearly Invisible

When I lost a significant amount of my hearing following a bad bout with COVID I was very concerned with finding hearing aids that would be effective for me and that they wouldn't cost a fortune. I did my research and settled on Audien's Atom Pro 2. I was pleased that they were very affordable and that the hearing aids met my criteria of what I wanted addressed with my hearing loss. I wanted them to be easy to use when it comes to positioning in my ears, adjusting the volume, the mode setting, easy to charge, and reasonably priced. These hearing aids definitely meet all of my criteria. I really think that with what the Atom Pro 2 has to offer they are well worth the cost.I was also pleased with the fact that the Audien's Customer Service staff were very helpful and responsive in addressing an issue I had with one of the hearing aids by replacing my set.

There have been very few companies I have dealt with over the years that didn't disappoint me with their customer service when a problem arose, but not from Audien; there's a good reason they have so many glowing reviews. I needed to exchange the aids I had ordered that were a little too large for my ears, and to my horror, I learned that I had missed the return-by date! I figured I had just lost all my money. I did ask for some consideration since the reason I was late was due to cancer treatment and surgery, but didn't expect any because it was still my fault. I figured I had just lost my money but in swooped Ben, who made me an offer to exchange them for something that would work even better for me, and at a discount! Rest assured that Audien can help anyone enjoy the precious gift of hearing what people - and especially their loved ones - are saying. Just watching TV and being able to understand what is being said without subtitles is a pleasure. If you are on the fence trying to decide which company, CHOOSE AUDIEN, you won't be disappointed!!

I am the daughter of my 94 year old mother. She is legal blind and has a hearing loss of 80 db in one ear and 60 db in the other. This is a great little hearing aid.I have only given it a 3 star review because I took off a star because they need more detailed information in the documentation Audien sends in the box. They do not tell you the hearing aid case is fully charged and ready to use. The Atom Pro 2 has a factory preset hearing volume and mode set to 3. Customer service did not know this and I figured it out. This is quite high because when I first put in mom’s ear she said it was way too loud. The Atom Pro 2 has a small dome on the hearing aid from the factory. When I called customer service they recommended the large dome to help it stay in the ear and stop the squealing. This should be written in the information as well. I could not find in the brochure how long it takes to charge the hearing aid case. Next, I held the Atom Pro 2 close to my ear to hear the beeps or boops in order to change the volume and mode. That is a little difficult to determine you must listen closely. I know my mom would not be able to determine these sounds due to the loss of her range of hearing.I took off another star due to the location of the button to change the volume and mode which is on the end where the little wire is located. It can be bumped so easily and changed if it hits your ear or you touch it when putting in the ear canal or in the case. Mom’s hearing aid would change the volume when I was so cautious not to touch or change it. I would like a different way of adjusting the volume on the Atom Pro 2. Mom might have touched the hearing aid in her ear and hit the button, accidentally changing the volume. She kept losing the Atom Pro 2 it would fall out of her left ear when chewing. I tried several different domes. Finally, I used an old dome from the Audien EV3 that stayed in a little better but it still fell out. She had problems with feed back due to the volume being so high. I turned the mode and volume down to one because it was too loud. She would hear buzzing or beeping because the hearing aid did not fit properly in her ear. Since the Atom Pro 2 kept falling out of her ear on the table, floor and other times in her clothes. This was a real problem with her low vision. I was concerned she would permanently loss it.Aleli a representative from Audien Hearing called and listened to all my concerns, suggestions and problems. We determined due to mom’s ear canal we are upgrading to the behind the ear Audien hearing aid. I think this will be a better fit for her. Aleli is a 5 star employee she listens, is compassionate, understanding, helpful, resourceful, professional, knowledgeable, and very kind.Atom Pro 2 has great features such as; they are small and compact. The hearing aids automatically charge and are cleaned when you put them in the case. Mom has been using the hearing aids for 17 days and there are still 2 lights on the charging case. It seems once the case is charged it lasts for a long time. I would recommend these hearing aids and their fantastic customer service. The Atom Pro 2 hearing aid is a little wonder.

I have been wearing Costco over the ear hearing aids for over 6 years. When I started to think I may need to replace my original units I felt I should at least try the an over the counter unit. I picked this set due to the reviews. First off being in ear units they work way different than my old ones. Getting use to them has been a challenge because if the unit isn’t correctly positioned in your ear the feedback is miserable. There are 5 power settings and for me I can’t use any power above the third setting or I get lots of squealing. The company support is pretty good and they tell me that I will get better results as I get use to them. One advantage is that being in ear units I can wear them doing activities that I would not feel comfortable wearing my over the ear units. In general I can hear better with my old Costco units but I will keep these to use also.

The hearing aids are a quality product. I can hear as well if not a little better then with the expensive product I bought through my doctor. But the product is just the beginning. I had some questions and was interested in an upgrade. I sent them a message and was answered quickly by Ben. He was very professional and polite. We discussed my concerns and interest by email and when I had my concerns satisfactorily answered I new I was getting a quality product and that the representative Ben knew what his product was and what I could expect.

I've purchased 2 sets of the Atom Pro 2, one for me and one for my mother-in-law, and we love them. They're easy to use, fit well, and they help immensely! They hold their charge for hours and the storage case, which will recharge the hearing aids without being plugged in, is small and convenient. Whether I’m sitting in a quiet room, driving down the road, or enjoying a dinner in a restaurant with my wife, these earbuds make a big difference!
