I was very skeptical when I first saw this item, but I decided to give it a try since I often suffer from leg pain during flights. I’m so glad I did! These footrests made my flight significantly more comfortable. I especially appreciated the extra space under my feet—I was able to place my bags there and still stretch my legs. The table came out of the arm rest in business class but it still worked well. It also worked on regular seats around the tray table. I use it to keep my legs bend up, not use for stretching out. I tightened the strap. Also can let it loose so that your feet are resting on the hammock and not on floor.

Just got back from a cross-country flight where I tested this little foot hammock and I'm pleasantly surprised by how much difference it made! The design is simple but effective - just hooks over your tray table and creates a suspended sling for your feet. Setup took literally 30 seconds and didn't disturb my seatmates at all. The adjustable straps are key - I could position it at the perfect height for my 5'6" frame which kept my legs from dangling uncomfortably. The material is soft but sturdy enough to support my feet without stretching out during the 5-hour flight. When turbulence hit, it moved with the plane without becoming unstable. Folding it up is super easy and it takes barely any space in my carry-on - about the size of a small paperback book when packed away. Used it both with and without shoes and it was comfortable either way. One thing to note is that it works best when your tray table is down, so not ideal during meal service. Also had to readjust it a couple times when I got up to use the restroom, but that only took seconds. The build quality seems decent - stitching is solid and the straps showed no signs of fraying after one long trip. Tried it with both window and middle seats with similar results. My seatmate was so intrigued she asked where to buy one! Not perfect though - wish it had a small pocket to store itself in rather than just folding up. Also wouldn't work well with bulkhead seats that have no tray table in front. The items on Temu often don't have the board at the bottom, which makes the hammock fold and pushes feet together - not good! This item has that bottom board and works well.

I used this foot rest on a 10-hour flight and really loved how much more comfortable it made the trip. I adjusted the height depending on what I was doing—lower with my legs straight while sleeping, and higher with bent knees while using my iPad. It definitely made a big difference. Unfortunately, the base broke in half on my first flight. It still works, but it was much better with the original support. I wish it came with a more durable board. Despite that, it made flying in economy so much better.
