I bought this cover to protect my wicker chair from my cat. He still managed to get to the chair. He tore up and ate the plastic. There should be some way to completely seal the plastic around what you want to protect.

The Heavy-Duty Plastic Furniture Covers are practical and large enough to protect sofas, tables, and more during moves. The material is durable, though slightly noisy when rubbed, and the seams could be a bit stronger. While they do the job, they're not as sturdy as I hoped for long-term storage.
