Degas' Drawings of Dancers

I love the design of Edgar I have not looked at it but I have not done anything else I want to keep it as a keepsake Scentsy is one of my ancestors but it's gorgeous is beautiful it really shows his detail Arts that is quite amazing

It was interesting showing how Degas posed each dancer after sketching them to make his pastels or original oils.

The images are very poor quality. I've seen an older version of this book, and the current one is simply not good.

If you want to learn how to paint and sketch ballet dancers, this is a great book for learning some of his techniques.

excellent service, drawings are clear and of good quality. they are not repeated in other collections. I am very pleased with the product.

It's almost as though they intentionally left out some of the more popular drawings.But for the most part, it's alright.

This lovely book of Degas drawings is great for art lovers and dancers alike. Good clear illustrations and excellent price.

This is a fairly decent budget collection of Degas' drawings, they are mostly preparatory sketches capturing a pose or compositional idea, a few of them are surprisingly clunky for Degas and have heavy outlines and large limbs that remind me of Picassos' paintings of dancers from the early 1920's. Like most of the books in this series the print quality is fairly hazy and lacks contrast - especially the ones that are monochrome prints of pastel drawings done on coloured paper but for the money this is a useful book to have if like me you're keen to improve your drawing skills.
