Val-Pak V22-110 Skim-Master Heavy Duty Skimmer Basket

I tried to save a little money, we all do. I bought a pair of baskets that were rated pretty good and were about $14. 6 weeks later they are cracked busted garbage. I saw these and thought I would give them a shot. I am 325lb and I could stand on them with no worries. THICK plastic, heavy duty, like for a municipal pool. I just put them in today but I feel like they will be last on my worry list for years to come.

FINALLY ! A skimmer basket thick and strong enough to not crush from pump suction when full of leaves !! I went through 3 or 4 name-brand Hayward skimmer baskets that all crushed and split open when full of leaves...ending up costing me more for those than one of these. "Handle" is strong too, this basket will probably never have to be replaced

I just purchased this, so I can’t speak to long term durability; however, it is very sturdy and heavy weighted. So far it is staying in place and not floating up. It is definitely worth the money.

More sturdier that old basket. Have two now have back up. So much easier to lift out

I bought one of these baskets two weeks ago and loved it so much that I bought a second one. No handle to break off or cheap plastic to crack. This durable design can't be beat. The built in handle and a weighted bottom make this skimmer basket well worth the cost. I am so pleased with this purchase.

VERY STURDY AND DURABLE. JUST WISH IT HAD A HANDLE. I LIFT MINE OUT WITH A SMALL TOOL. THE LITTLE EDGE NEEDS TO BE WIDER TO GRAB SO IT DOESN'T FALL BACK IN..

Nice heavy baskets. Fit perfectly. Have a great lip on side to help remove from pool. Heavy enough to stay at the bottom of skimmer without a weight inside. Best skimmer basket I have ever had

This is the Cadillac of baskets. The plastic is not only really solid but it’s also weighted on the bottom. I can’t believe I’ve been struggling with the ordinary baskets I purchase at the pool stores for all these years.
