Spark Plug Thread Repair Kit M10 x 1.00

I put my spark plug in way too tight and stripped it. My brother was able to repair it with this kit with precision, care and patience. Worked great!

I had rebuilt a motor bike engine but discovered towards the end of the project that the previous owner had cross threaded the spark plug in the aluminium cylinder head. I bought this kit to sort out that little problem. The kit comes with inserts of varying lengths to suit the thread length of the spark plug fitted although I did check the full specification of the spark plug before I ordered so I knew I was getting the right kit. The tap that comes with the set is very sturdy and can obviously be used more than once so it’s in my tool box for future use.

Sehr gutes preiswertes Werkzeug. Der Ausbau des Zylinderkopfes ist unbedingt zu empfehlen. Mit etwas Erfahrung und richtiger Anwendung erfolgt die Reparatur sehr erfolgreich. Achtung, es gibt nur einen Versuch. Nach erfolgreicher Reparatur, ist das Zündkerzengewinde wieder voll belastbar. Viel Erfolg!

Muy buena solución para reparar la rosca y volver a colocar bien la bujía, recomiendo extraer las virutas con un pequeńo aspirador de mano o con un papel impregnado con un poco de grasa para que se queden adheridas.
