The media could not be loaded.  Hit my 40's now and after years to having some back trouble (ever so slightly) I thought I better invest in a standing desk. Checked around and the prices are extortionante for a full blown desk that rises. I sit on my desk for more hours then I care to mention, thats was even before lockdown. Anyway, this little beuty popped up and after the examination of the price by my wife and the fact I mentioned "health benefits" she gave me the seal of approval to spend £200 on the electric version of this.First of all the desk is heavy! Luckly I do some weight lifting so it was not too bad but cubersome to hold - so I suggest two people. I have been using it for a few weeks now and the only "problem" (if I can call it that) I have is the size of the thing - as in thats a positive and negative. My existing desk is basically gone and replaced with this beast. Its so long that it goes over my desk (my desk is 60cm in width) and thats the problem - when you raise it and you put a bit of weight on it then it hangs forward and you think the whole thing will fall. Although it has not and its very sturdy. However just in case I bought some CT1 glue and glued the end feet to the desk plus added some 2KG weights on either side and that has completly stopped the hanging effect.I have my heavy laptopn and monitor on it. I used to have a stand for the monitor but bought a moitor extender arm so its easy to free up space on the desk and move up and down when in various positions.The electric bottons are brilliant - you just touch them and they do their job. You can see from the photos the extention of the desk that goes over it. I also bought a standing mat as if your on hard flooring then you need that. Lastly, I have added my sockets to the back of this beast and its hidden away so no poblem there.Conclusion - should have bought it ages ago and I am typing this standing up!

This is a very sturdy (read heavy!) desk, solid in construction. I've been using it for a week and am thrilled with it. I actually feel better after standing for a few hours than sitting and my posture is MUCH better. At the end of the work day I find myself less tired than before.The desk works really well, I love the electric mechanism, although be careful - the slightest touch activates it! The user guide warns against cable pinch, I have tied my monitor cables with the provided cable ties and they stay well away from the support bars. I have two monitors on the desk, one is a 4K monitor 69cm wide, the other is smaller at 48cm wide. The are both angled slightly towards the centre and it works well.I do find the monitor height more comfortable for standing than for sitting, and am experimenting with raising the height of my chair a little to compensate for the increase in "flat height" when at the lowest setting.

I started working from home dirng COVID outbreak and got this to ease MSK issues at home. I use a sit/stand desk at work. THe product came quickly in very good packaging. It was quick to get set up and now I use it every day. This product does not raise a normal des as high as a full offie sit/stand so beware tall people. I don't think you'd want this if you are over 6ft.

I ordered this as a half measure to convert my desk into a standing desk. I'm fairly happy with it and I'm glad for the electric motor, but there's a few drawbacks and one in particular which they don't highlight in their description.It was hard to judge the size - I went for the biggest available and it works for my setup, but I would have benefited from putting more effort into measuring my desk, I think I could have managed a smaller model. That said - I have 2x laptops and floating monitor attached with plenty of room for my 4x port KVM switch.The buttons are chrome-like 'touch' buttons which are not labled, but as there is only up and down, it's not a big deal.When I first set it up - I thought I had done so incorrectly - but it appears that keyboard shelf does not go all the way down flush against your desk - there is about a half an inch gap. Not a deal breaker but worth considering and looking at other brands if you want something that sits flush. I really think they should be a bit more upfront about this- or fix the design - clearly they're using generic parts, but they could easily ship with longer brackets.On first test of the electric hydraulics, it is quite strong and holds the desk firm at full height. However, I had to push it to get it to collapse again - the hydraulic arm seemed to get stuck. After I setup my rig I realised this was to counter the weight of a laptop and monitor, so it goes down without needing the nudge.That said, the other quirk is that the desk when lowered seems to complete it's travel before the hydraulic is complete - this just adds to the feeling that the parts are not specifically measured - it's odd that the hydraulic motion would continue but the keyboard comes to rest an inch above the table surface.Other than the feel of the design elements that don't sit flush, the build quality is quite sturdy, has no problem holding and I don't feel any movement or wobbliness after a month of use. I was debating over 3 or 4 stars, decided to go with 4 because it's not a bad product.
