This is an example of one of those beautiful gems that weren’t necessarily lost when the Disney takeover essentially wiped away decades of Star Wars lore. Because Darth Bane is canon in the new Star Wars universe, these books can be enjoyed without worrying that it’s not relevant to the wider, current context. And since Darth Bane and the broader events around him are indeed canon, and have not been replaced by another story, you can sit back and be completely enthralled by the author’s skill. Karpyshyn’s intricately crafted work that brings to life how Darth Bane came into being, is so satisfying, and I found myself so engrossed, that I finished the book in just a few days. Honestly, he is breathtakingly talented, and I am so happy to have decided to jump into this trilogy. Bane’s transformation is completely believable, and as somehow both the villain and the hero simultaneously, is a testament to the author’s sheer ability to create something very special. I have already started book two, and unfortunately I’m gobbling that one up at an even faster pace! Damn you, Drew Karpyshyn! 😉

Imagine a world which plays homage to the whole universe of star wars which reflects in its myths which grows its concepts. I truly believe this is the best trilogy of any book in this universe in fact i would say of any trilogy ever. It ties answers to riddles that most people don't even realise they think. The rule of 2 how did the sith become the way they are, this is a beautiful story of a world Disney wouldn't never have thought of. The most criminal thing about this trilogy in a film done well should and would be not just a cult classic but it would appeal to anyone who loves star wars or even vaguely likes it. Such is the shame of this never being brought to cinema but the audio books are incredibly. I would like tell you why you need to read this and list the points i would destroy the most wonderful journey you could hope to travel so get it read it live it page by page for yourself

Ich fand die Trilogie sehr spannend und fesselnd es dauert immer etwas bis man sich von einem Buch in das andere hinein gefunden hat aber dann kommt man nicht mehr los außerdem haben die Cinematics sehr geholfen das Geschehen zu Visualisieren!
