Kahuna Creations Bamboo Big Stick

I own two "Big Sticks": I have an adjustable aluminum stick (Moco) and the current Bamboo stick I'm reviewing. Longboard Paddling is fun and a great workout. Every time I ride and paddle someone has a positive comment, they ask me what I'm training for, and sometimes they ask if they can try it out. I've been paddling for a year and still love this outdoor activity. I would recommend the bamboo version of the "Big Stick" it feels like it absorbs more of the impact when paddling than the aluminum version. Don't get me wrong the aluminum stick is a great purchase; more compact for traveling, cheaper, the styling looks great, and when the wind hits it makes a whistle sound. I noticed that on both sticks the blade (portion that strikes the ground) wears out after a had year of running around the city. You can purchase a new blade for less than $30 and it's easy to change out.I highly recommend the "Big Stick" for all ages and people, it's a great activity that will help get you in shape and make you look forward to the next time you paddle.Cheers!
