Good value
Solved a WiFi disconnects from a different adapter. Took me a while to discover it appears as a USB and you have to “eject” that and then it will work as the WiFi adapter, I’m assuming that’s because all the drivers are on the adapter so it’s just plug and play

Don't buy this, seriously. It doesn't work.
Disconnects from whatever network you're connected to. No idea on how long it will maintain connection before dropping it. Sometimes it won't connect to WiFi on starting up PC, and have to restart it. Other times it connects fine, then disconnects. Only restarting PC seems to get it working, and even then it will cut out randomly. Designers and sellers should be ashamed. If I could give 0 stars, I would.

Works well but issues with it taking up too much space
I use this in a laptop and the problem I have is that the USB plug is in the centre, and the device is quite wide. As I have two USB 3.0 ports right next to each other, it is not possible to use both of them as the device takes up all of the space, ideally the connection port would be off set to the side. I did manage to get it going using a hub port at the back of my Dell monitor so as long as I don't travel anywhere it's okay, otherwise it's a problem. The only fix would be either run it on USB2.0 on the other side of my computer or put in a 3.0 USB extender, but then it'll just flop around. Performance wise, I've not tested it for distance, but I was having slow 2.4ghz speeds (13mbps or less) despite being next to the router, and it fixed it I now get the full speed of my broadband (about 55mbps), this is on a Dlink with wifi6. Overall it's good, but for my particular use, not perfect. To add, it uses a Realtek chipset with a reasonably up to date driver 01/06/2023. The "CD" that it refers to in the instructions is actually built into the USB device itself. The first time I plugged it in, nothing came up, I moved it to my USB2.0 and then up it popped (what do you want to do with the CD), run the EXE, and it installs quickly, this was on a Win10.Edit. I have since range/speed tested it, and it performed extremely well. I also bought another INTERNAL card "MQ AX210 PCI-E Wifi 6E Card, Wifi Adapter Network Card with 2.4G/5G/6G Tri band, up to 5374Mbps" off Amazon, and tested that n an identical computer. This USB dongle had much greater range and speed at distance, so is ideal if you are on the edge of service from a router. With the internal one I was seeing 2mbps when outside about 50+ feet from the router which was inside, but with this USB dongle I was around 14, and I was able to walk much further away.

Not Wireless 6E
I got this product and can confirm that wireless 6 works perfectly on the adapter but if you want to use wireless 6E (6G WiFi) do not get this adapter. If you try to force it just to used 6G and not 5G or 2.4G the driver will crash.I have returned mine to Amazon and got a Netgear one instead.

If you are looking for a stable dongle. DON'T BUY THIS!
Absolutely the worst piece of tech, wanted a reliable dongle for wireless for work as I jump between mac and pc and didn't want to keep swapping out the Ethernet , router is six feet away. Constantly drops signal and take multiple adapter resets to get it working. Just buy something decent somewhere else.

Blocks nearby ports
How do you download a driver without an internet connection? The sparse instructions are very misleading. I think a generic Windows 11 driver installed, but the name of the connection didn't show up as I expected. I downloaded a driver on my laptop and used a thumb drive to install it. The automatic setup didn't work, so it took me a while to manually set up my connection using a the very short network cable provided with the IP address in the manual. Don't try this if you don't know what you are doing.I have 7 USB ports on this computer. Unfortunately, this device blocks the adjacent ports, depending on the size of your connectors. It is very wide, so it either blocks an audio in or a USB3 port, or both. Its thickness restricts access to the USB3 port above it. I can basically only use 2 of the block of 4 USB3 ports and not my audio in port. Fortunately, there is a second audio in port on top of my case, as well as another USB3.All that aside, it seems to work very well for me, once I installed it and moved all my USB devices around.
