Great upgrade.
This hose seals as expected and makes reaching the work piece easy when the tank sits safely secured beside the bench

No igniter
I would have given a 5 start but it does not have an igniter, always have to make sure I have a lighter in my tool chest. Nicely made, easy to use.

it's okay but flame adjuster is difficult to tune
a standard pencil torch head. My only negative is that the flame adjusted (flow control knob) is either on full blast or off. There is no fine control. I tried several times trying to get the correct flame flow, but if you close the knob valve even slightly, the flame goes out. And if you open it up from closed, the flame flow is full blast. So if you are looking for fine control over flame and flow, this is not the right tool you need. I am okay with it because it is used only to heat up corroded bolts and to light a wood burning smoker. I don't need the fine control, but it would be nice to have some better control over flow and flame. Good value for what you get. Also: the 5 foot hose will NOT attach to a standard skinny propane or camp site style bottle. The 5 foot hose will ONLY fit to the larger 10 pound to 20 pound larger propane or map bottles. You can buy an adapter to make that work but I recommend you get an adapter than has a cutoff valve so you can use up all the pressurized propane in the hose each time you use the torch.
