You get what you pay for. This is a cheap scale but prefect for the here and there refrigeration guy/gal. Like the case it comes in and keeps it protect and easy to zero out and the measurements are nice but it only measures oz in .2 which means if a fridge calls for 4.75 oz you’ll have to charge to 4.8 Otherwise great little scale

Setup is simple , place the tank on the platform, power it on, tare it, and start charging. The readings update quickly and make it easy to stop right at the correct charge weight. The platform feels sturdy even with a full refrigerant cylinder, and the wired display controller is convenient since you can monitor the weight without bending down next to the tank. The included carrying case is also nice for keeping it protected when transporting it with other HVAC tools. My only minor complaint is that the display could be a little brighter in direct sunlight, and a slightly larger platform would be helpful for bigger tanks. Overall, it’s an accurate and straightforward refrigerant scale that works well for HVAC service or DIY AC work. A good value if you need a dependable scale for charging refrigerant by weight.

Weighed a barbell to ensure accuracy and it was perfect. Weighed my tanks, refilled my units, and reweighed my tanks after. Did its job perfectly. Immediately pulled the battery out as it will sit until next year. I hope it works when I pull it back out next spring.

Wasn’t sure at first, thought just give a try before buying it. It came in on time and tried once, works perfect. Also save big bucks as other brand name products. (Friendly reminder: prepare a 9V battery prior of use :) )

Bought this scale to weigh refrigerant as it is added to a system. Works well and is accurate from what I can tell. Saves the last weight entered when it shuts off on battery saver which is nice. Wish it had an option to show pounds and ounces at the same time instead of switching between the two but for the price of the scale it is a great value.
