Predator Versus Judge Dredd Versus Aliens: Splice and Dice (Predator Vs Judge Dredd Vs Aliens) Paperback – October 17, 2017

The story has SO much promise, but it's phoned in. They even take short cuts with Dredd isms. Dredd doesn't even declare himself a judge when he meets people. Doesn't tell them he's *Judge Dredd*, just that he's *Dredd* and tells them to obey him. The whole story just feels like it wasn't written by a fan. Lots of little things missing. Entire groups of people die or are imprisoned off focus. You just read that core villians of this very book have been captured. Same groups who we see in this book beat up several judges and wot not, we are to just take it as fine that these plot heavy characters are suddenly put away for some reason. Frustrating.The characters are very interesting and there is so much they could have done there, but they just didn't. It's got an Island of Doctor Monroe (and that whole gang), a robot cult leader (and his followers), judges, predators and aliens, but it doesn't take any of them for a spin except the predators (?). Phoned in.This is my 15th or 16th graphic novel and I'm going to rate it as me second least favorite. Great art tho. Really well drawn and realized. Complex messages are communicated through the imagery well

Agree with those who say this story could have been developed further, but surely that is the sign of a great tale -- the reader is left wanting more. Judge Dredd allied to Predator v. Aliens? How can you go wrong? Archbishop Emoji, meantime, joins the ranks of memorable Dredd villains. Highly recommended.

This is a freaky ride. Mutants, Predators, Xenomorphs, mad scientists, robot cults, and psychic cops. Yeah, this is a wild comic. I wish it had been longer and the stories fleshed out more, but that is always the case with graphic novels--isn't it? The art is pretty great. Dredd is a mean old dude, as usual. It's a nice diversion from reality. Try it.

Great story about Judge Dredd battling Aliens, Predators, criminals and a white supremacist scientist.

Anything with predator, alien and dredd... You can't go wrong!!!! Always a good comic read for any fan of these characters!!!!

THIS WAS A GIFT

I may have had my expectations too high for three of my favorite franchises and it IS okay... but not great.

Kinda short but worth it to me. Up to you whether price is fair.

Die Ware hat mich erst fünf Tage nach meiner Bestellung erreicht (was wohl auch am Zustellservice liegt), aber mein grösster Kritikpunkt ist die Verpackung. Obwohl has Heft in einem gepolstertem Umschlag angekommen ist war die Ware selber nicht eingeschweisst wie es bei Comics der Fall sein sollte. Aus Erfahrung weiss ich das diese Ausgabe u.ä. immer verpackt sind.Sobald die Verpackung fehlt gilt es nicht mehr als 'neu', höchstens als 'neuwertig' (gebraucht) und dementsprechend rechtfertigt es nicht mehr den vollen Preis. Mir sind einige Knicke und Materialmängel nach dem Erhalt aufgefallen die wohl auch auf den Transport zurück zu führen sind. Da es als Geburtstagsgeschenk gedacht war erfüllte es nicht mehr seinen Zweck, als Liebhaber der AvP Serie allerdings schon.Beim nächsten mal etwas mehr Respekt der Ware gegenüber.

Would have been handy if it had come in English as I don't speak nor read German so not all that great and I could not return as I was in hospital.
