This was great for post vasectomy recovery. Supportive and the ice pack is great. Lasts about 25 mins per freeze, comes with 2 ice packs . The material is soft and durable. The waist band is thick and tight. I'm a 36 waist and bought large and xlarge. The xlarge was more comfortable as the large was too tight at the waist for all day use. If you are getting snipped I would buy 2 or 3 pairs. I did 3 and it's been very worth it.

Product actually worked as advertised which was great relief due to the price of the item. The jock strap provided a great support and minimized the discomfort after my vasectomy procedure. I would have given 5 stars but the ice packs that came with the strap was a huge disappointment. They honestly were useless.

Listen, post vasectomy you may want this directly after surgery. The ice pack kinda fits under the nuts. Don’t forget to ice down the sides and top area to reduce bruising .The ice packs on this are great bc you can rotate Illini the freezer . Take a load off kings, you deserve it

The jockstrap fits well, offers sufficient support, and the fabric is quite soft and comfortable. No complaints on that side.However, upon first use of the ice pack it tore on a seam, thus meaning the jockstrap had to go through the wash and dry out for a day when I needed it most. My guess is that frozen packs don’t bend well, so don’t leave them in the freezer for more than a couple hours, or make sure they’re pliable before use.The material underneath the pouch is thick (and should be to be supportive), but means the cooling from the ice pack didn’t transfer as much anyway. If I was shopping again, I’d probably look for a similar jockstrap without the ice packs, wear it over a pair of (boxer) briefs, and just take it off every hour or two to apply frozen peas (as it’s easier to get peas to deform to your exact shape anyway).

I am 6 days post vasectomy now. My balls are finally starting to feel more normal today. Last night i could finally lay on my side for longer than just a couple of minutes. I may actually feel like and be able to have sex again tomorrow. Before today I did not think that was going to be a possibility any time soon. Best way to describe this past week was that my balls have felt like they were bruised very deeply so they were extremely sore. This banana hammock will hold them up to your body snuggly which is what you will want. The pouch in the front to hold the ice pack is so heavenly. The ice packs are perfectly shaped so that the wider side rests perfectly above your sack space. I also purchased the boxer brief versions just in case I liked them to see the difference and I honestly don't believe I will have any need for them nor through the healing process. I tried them out initially and yesterday a little bit just to see if they were comparable. I am a boxer guy normally so I thought I might like those but they just aren't supportive enough. Buy 2 of these jock strap style compression undies and you will be SO glad you did. That way you can wash the pair you are not wearing for the next day and just alternate each day plus you will have 4 ice packs. Which for me worked out great in case I wanted to be in the basement and not have to go upstairs. Plus you will want to use one pack for 15 minutes at a time and do a total of 30 minutes. Hope this review helps shed some light on the topic. The procedure and recovery is not nearly as bad as I thought it could have been.

(Update) The seller communicated very well and they refunded my money for the defective product, AND issued me a $15 refund on top of that. I am very pleased with how the seller handled the situation. However, I'm not changing my star amount because I was not happy with the product at all, and that's what this is supposed to be about. Hopefully my issue was a fluke and isn't a regular occurrence.(Original) Very low quality. Luckily there's 3 pieces because only 1 of them was any good. The first pair was extremely loose right from the start. The second pair broke after about 6 hours of use. The third pair was the only one that was any good. One of the ice packs also broke during normal usage.

Gave that extra support needed and made getting back to work much easier to deal with. Even helped me get back to running a little sooner than anticipated and kept it all in one relatively comfortable place.

Three days after my vasectomy. I've gotten a lot of use out of these ice packs, but the underwear itself doesn't really offer much support, and isn't really needed to hold these ice packs in place.Luckily, I also bought some briefs 2 sizes smaller than my usual, which provide the necessary support. Those briefs also hold the ice packs in place without the stringy jockstrap included in this package. I do NOT regret my purchase of this product... as everything is well manufactured and was delivered exactly as advertised. The ice packs are fantastic. But if you're not ready to waste money for peace of mind like I was, you CAN buy similar triangular ice packs (without underwear) for a lower price and pair them with the tight underwear of your choice and get a better result for less money.I do own other ice packs, and considered using a bag of frozen peas or corn like some people suggest... but I'm still giving this product 4/5 stars just because these ice packs ARE a better fit than whatever ice packs or random stuff you already have in your freezer. Not to mention... you'll never accidentally put these into your soup after using them (sorry, not sorry for going there)(If you can't afford ANY of these things, don't worry, guys ... I promise the procedure isn't as bad as you fear. You'll be fine. Ice and tight undies do help though.)

Bought a few different brands so the boys has some comfort. These by far were the best quality and has the best gel packs. The material is very soft. It holds them where they are. Just wish they were a little larger down there. They just fit, almost too small. I bought an xl and am around the 250. They were tight. The gel packs though made it way better than the others. The others froze solid where these still had flexibility.I would recommend to anyone getting the snip.
