ARTISTIC EYE Premium Watercolor Pencils | Set of 48, Quality 3.5mm Soft Core Leads, Water-Soluble Pencils, Perfect for Beginner & Advanced Artists

I saw a stellar review for these pencils on YouTube and wanted to try them out for myself. They all activated well, have strong leads, easy to sharpen, and there is a good range of colors in the 48pc set. I used a water brush to activate them as an under layer for a coloring page and had lots of success. I do wish there were more grays and neutrals included in this set. A few of the pencils had misprinting on the barrel, where the name was printed on the corner which made it hard to read, but this was a minor issue for the price.Overall I'm excited to keep trying them out and maybe upgrading to the larger set!

I got this for my mother who loves art as a hobby. She finds the pencils to glide across the paper well, and the colors are absolutely vibrant! Works well with water as well. Highly recommended!

These are so fun to watch the colors come alive with water 💦

This is my first set of water color pencils, and I really like them. I get too frustrated trying to mix traditional water colors...all end up muddy or just can't get the shade. The pencils take a lot of the guesswork out of watercolor painting and finished product is close enough for me. I'm no artist, so it's mainly accenting plain note cards or a special blended color edge to a ready made note card.

The colors are beautiful and the fact that they are "watercolor pencils" is even better. They actually do make a difference. They blend beautifully, so you can create realistic colors in your art. After using them as you would colored pencils, you just use any artist paint brush , wet the brush (do not overly wet it, start out lightly) and use it as if you're painting where you have colored with these pencils. The effects are wonderful, they add another beautiful dimension to your art.

I love all the colors and these come with great directions and tips for getting the most out of your pencils! I’m learning and having fun!

I bought these pencils for art workshops I am going to host. I was looking for soft pencils with strong colors, and I really like these ones. You can also blend them with water (but only bright colors separately from dark, as they don't mix well with each other). I recommend this set. The variety of colors is good. In the photo, the paper I used is textured, which is why the white of the paper is seen. But if plain paper is used, the cover of the pencil is very good.

Good pigmentation is fast reacting in contact with water, great variety of colors, well graded. Easy to achieve successful results !
